Since I dont ride hard and fast I opt for reasonable price brake pads below RM50 pair. As long can stop its good enough for me. I don't bother what others say.

Bike vs car accident. Car escape with just a police summon.
Good luck trying to claim from car insurance. I heard need lawyer letter etc. If the cost off repair is bearable then just fork out own money. If not then have to sacrifice NCB and claim own insurance. |

QUOTE(deadwolf @ Apr 12 2017, 02:13 PM) Thanks for the tip  If you have bought a used bike and the roadtax hasn't expired please take note that once you change owner that roadtax is invalid. You will need a new a new roadtax.OK cool, I managed to get some insurance in line with the new bike's road tax expiry date, will sort everything out once I go and renew road tax. Thanks for the info! Guys, just listed my old bike on Mudah and got a rather out of the ordinary request...a buyer from the US is interested, he says his account officer will transfer money into my account and a DHL agent will deal with transfer of ownership and shipping the bike to the US. Any opinions? Seems like a lot of trouble just for a 250cc. Also not sure if its some kind of scam |

QUOTE(deadwolf @ Apr 13 2017, 11:43 AM) Oh shit, missed that completely Insurance is new so just go and get a new roadtax. Roadtax will follow insurance expiry date.So now I've got a new bike, with insurance following the previous owner's road tax (which is now void). What do I do? Go to pejabat pos and get a new road tax and insurance, then cancel and hopefully get refund on my previous insurance for the new bike? Thanks for bringing this up  Dunno when I would have found out if you hadn't... If your current roadtax has more than 6 months then when you renew later you will have to take your bike for inspection. This post has been edited by adyzul: Apr 13 2017, 12:34 PM |

Upsize means a little more contact on road due to the slightly wider tyre. Maybe you need heavier bar end balancers.
