QUOTE(deadwolf @ Nov 29 2016, 11:14 AM) Can try this guy out, sells mostly supermoto stuff so has a few MX-style bars in stock. I've ordered from him before, very good communication/quick delivery. Anyone tested Suzuki Bikes @ Sepang last weekend?
I tried the naked 750 in-line 4, feels like can't accelerate fast (as compared to mine). Is this normal? Just curious. Tested GSX-R1000R feels good on track, easier to lean than naked. |

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Nov 19 2018, 12:29 PM) One noticeable difference I felt was if you accidentally put in gear without pulling the clutch. The clutch kinda absorbed the power and you won't feel thrown off the bike. Just to add on, newer Ducati that are using timing chain would be cheaper in terms of desmo service (was told by SA). The machoness and the raw muscular sound in Ducati Monsta is Z800 - like any other Japanese bike. Easy to maintain. Can go to most motorcycle shop for service. The very downside of the bike is, it's effing heavvvvvyyyyy. M796 - like any other Ducati bike. If you really love giving TLC to your bike, Ducati is the brand. I have two close friends using a SF848 and HM821. Service is RM600-800 IINM. You want to change something, you have to go to the dealership or someone who knows Ducati. And the Desmo service costs RM2-3k at 15k km, this is what they told me la, but I didn't really check. Newer Ducati's Desmo service interval is now at every 35k km IINM. Just my two cent. If you like the Z800, just go for it. If you like the Monster, just go for it. |
