I get by completing course lah. I finished it before SPM, then stack all SPM knowledge, and no drive until now.

If change before, heard can only renew after 1 year.

If after, then can renew for more than 1 year.

Okays. I no plan to drive until I finished my Degree.

To make it simple for yourself, go to any of the UTC like Pudu Sentral, Bring along your IC and your PDL. If you want to change your photo, bring along a passport size photo, otherwise they will use the same photo from your PDL. Don't forget some cash as well, RM30 for one year. If you're planning to renew for 5 years bring RM150.

If you want to renew for five years, you can only do so after your PDL is expired. If you renew 7 days before it expires and up till the day of your PDL expiry date, you can only renew it for 1 year. So my advice is go to JPJ the day after your PDL expired. For example, if your PDL expires on Aug 31, and you renew it between Aug 25 and Aug 31, you can only renew it for 1 year. If you renew it on Sept 1, you can renew it for 5 years.


You must go to JPJ to convert PDL to CDL. Oh, and you may want to go to UTC Pudu Sentral JPJ to get it done, as it is open 7 days a week, from 8:30am till 9:30pm, and they are very quick. I got mine done recently and it only took 5 minutes.

Go jpj la dik. Bawak ur p licence,change before expire ok. After also ok just dont wait until 1 y from expired la or u have to reseat exam. Asalkan polis x tahan.

Oh. Maybe already change. My time I took L, n took the learning hours b4 18. But to take the test must be 18 so I remember taking it on my birthday ( coinsidence got test day on my birthday ).
