One of my friend got 4.25% in Affin by buying 1000 units of FP ASNB units. Since the FD was >100k, good deal ! 

They told me not bundled with ASNB fixed price products, only Variable price UT

Mistake by the branch. Staff not fully familiar with the product launched by HQ

I was surprised the first time I heard it. Last time I have one FD promo with RHB for 6 mths 7.8% with ASNB VP funds.

But confirmed true on Wed, 2 days ago. I also opened 3 FP funds there. I am sure some other branch of Affin is doing the same thing. 

Unlikely. Bank just have to bite the bullet for the mistakes they make.

Affin FD package reach quota, confirmed with Affin just now. They asked me to go in and may get a "special" package.

So no more 4.25% with UT ! Now have to plan for new home for my eggs in 2 weeks time.

Looks like RHB or UOB will be the suitable one. Hopefully by Oct 1st, some other promo comes along. 

There goes my 4.25%. Big amount some more !       

May have to change my allocation for FD/ASNB FP. 

Ya, the FD due on 1/10. Got to ask AmBank for extra interest since it fell on Sat and Monday replacement holiday. 3 days interests.

But still cannot all go to FP, still bigger amt to FD. Just a matter of RHB or UOB. Unless some other FD promo comes up.

Keep getting rejected when attempting to add new funds.

The research house said it expects BNM to cut the OPR by another 25bps to 2.75% at the last phase of the Monetary Policy Committee meeting on Nov 23.
