Statement from Samsung Malaysia Electronics
QUOTE
For all Galaxy Note7 fans that have purchased from Samsung Malaysia pre-order site and participating partners (Celcom, Digi, Maxis, U Mobile, YES, Courts, Senheng) on 8th-10th August 2016, please be informed that all orders will be honoured and fulfilled as promised.
However, for those who ordered their units from Courts, it will be delivered 3 to 5 working days after 18th of August after 18th August.
Does the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 support Quick Charge 3.0?

Much like the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, it will not be available on the Galaxy Note 7. However, Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging is here – which is about the speed of Quick Charge 2.0 from Qualcomm. So you’ll be able to charge your Galaxy Note 7 quickly, but perhaps not as quickly as a Quick Charge 3.0 charger would allow. That’s a bit unfortunate, but this is likely to keep the user experience the same for everyone, since their Exynos processors don’t support Quick Charge 3.0.
Has Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) announced a new release date, given the delay?

No new official launch date has been given. As of now, the unofficial release date stands on 9th September 2016 although this date may change again depending on the severity of the global supply constraint

Meaning mysamsung apps is the rootcause of the problem? if yes, maybe TS need to put it at the very first page of the thread just to give a heads up to all the Note 7 Owner!
I'll look into it. If this is indeed the cause of the problem, I'll definitely put it up on the front page
I had the same exact thoughts when I charged my Note 7 for the first time because I've never felt that much heat coming out of a smartphone.
Either it will explode or it's gonna trigger some short circuit somewhere in the system. However, I'm charging my N7 now and everything seems to be normal. It's just warm but not as hot as it was the first time.
BTW dont put too much high hope on this SP. Although cheap and sticks at the edges but using with s-pen makes the screen looks like shit now after wife doodling for about 30minutes. The s-pen mark is everywhere on the screen and remained for 2 days already.
I currently have the original Samsung SP on my Note 7. It just serves as a temporary protection till I find a much better one (possibly GPEL TG SP)
