Push and hold volume down and power at the same time and hold them down until you feel a vibrate and see the Galaxy Note 7 reset. Even if the phone is completely unresponsive this will work. The phone will turn off, reboot and turn back on to full working order. It’s worth noting that some owners may see the device boot into a “safe” maintenance mode if things were really messed up. If so, use volume up/down to navigate to “reboot” and hit power to select that option.

the note 7 freeze and auto reboot is happened after update the new firmware?

It hang hnag hang..... But it hang when im in the mall, probably to low signal.

Frozen .... I thought is common problem?

I just peeled off the Samsung Ori SP from my phone and thrown it to the dust bin. I just couldn't stand the left over imprint from the SPen on the SP after done any writng onto it, it made the my phone screen looks so ugly with those imprints. I tried both the black and white SPen tips, they make no different.

Bro, just bring the whole box with charger n ur receipt.

@jacky91 - Samsung HQ just called n inform that they'd be replacing the phone n it'll be here in a week. Still. Wish I didn't have to go through all this from the beginning itself.

Based on experience, if its firmware a hard reset would have solved the issue. Dont even need for a reflash new firmware. I would highly suspect it to be a mainboard failure.

I am having this problem too.. just recently. Before this everything was okay until 4 or 5 day back.

So far my phone is gd.  Fluid. Battery is gd too even I'm running dual sim.  Haven't have the chance to use my backpack yet as I charge it with wireless charger in office. 

BTW,  I'm using ringke fusion.  I notice this casing is a bit oily compared to ringke fusion on my note 4 & nexus 5. TPU material at the sides are different compared to previous generation.  Original SP works fine with some trims on top and bottom.

Any feedback on this case?

BTW, my phone also suffer with random reboot issue. time to send to service center and hopefully got 1 to 1 replacement.

the second day i use it... before and after the latest software update also same.
