I would say so, i faced multiple times for bootloop and hung phone. This solution (power and volume down) provide a solution for force restart the phone. I would use this method till samsung comes with further majority update.

2ndly, I would try to flash using different fw and see how it goes, if the problem persist, it might be the hardware issue.

It seems to happen to everyone, eventually, so save ur time on the casing sp configuration...real problem awaits.... hehe

Non, the update doesnt solve the booting issue, i repeat, IT DOES NOT...

Indeed, they dont have the tools and spare phones to replace also...need to wait till sept i believe

Most people phone hang before or after the update, ive been reviewing n reading tons of comments,not even malaysia, singapore as well, even other countries in the xda forum. Same problem, random hand, bootloop, frozen..

After 2 days configuring the phone, reset, wipe data, partition even flashing using new firmware, the phone failed to boot and sometime stuck in bootloop. I think Note 7 did has hardware issue. Otw to SC for repair....

Well, just left the phone there,

Solution

One to one - no spare unit available
Repair - no spare parts available

So just need to wait till september

Agreed, need to wait till 10 september for the new batch to come, migth got luck to change one to one with non-faulty unit

Delay in launching will the delay the new phones coming, thus will delay the spare parts as well, huhu

Tried with a single sim, even with no sim at all, still hang and random freeze, huhu

just go, happened to me , I did everything I could, including flash the firmware, just send to the SC

BOOT LOOP ISSUE

Just got called from SC , they fixed the phone by reinstalling the latest fw (xme)in the N7, and tested them for a day and no bootloop issue. On the way to sc, wish me luck

Ive searched samsung-update and sammobile the SM-N930FD xme is not available yet for public, or u have any resource? Care to share?

Yup, i did flash using this firmware, Vietnam, a night before before sent to SC , it aint working.

Just came back from SC, i restarted the phone in front of the lady which she claimed the phone was ok. Bang... stuck at boot , so RIP I supposed, I will get a new one she said...soon.

Bottom line, xme fw also not working.... Huhu

They fixed it with xme latest version. Still stuck at booloop so I will get a new one....when new stock arrived. Huhu

Yes indeed. But suprisingly, she said the phone was ok yesterday and she played around with the phone with youtube and whatnot. It functioned. Then I restart the pgone in fornt of her. Stuck as usual.

Unfortunately yes...just use my other phone. I would rather leave it there with mind at peace hopefully will get a new batch/stock. Trying to avoid to go to SC multiple times.
