Just collected my replacement unit from sc.
It is brand new sealed box.
Counter ask me to unseal the box myself. Then after that he check through all the accessories infront of me me then testing the phone, the *0#*#.
Everything seems fine.
Will go home setup and test throughly.

Well I came from jabra step.. Jabra storm and jabra stone.
In terms of sound quality. Nothing to shout about.  It's loud enough and clear. You won't hear noises from ambience. And comes with 3 sizes fit perfectly. Won't drop. I'm using the default size which is medium I think. One thing to complain is the battery life.. If use standalone can last 4 hrs or less.. If connected to phone just 1 and half hours u need to put in the cradle. 10-5% battery you will get notification. Take 1 hour to fully charge in the cradle.  One good thing is you actually can use 1 at a time. That prolongs your usage.  It works as usual just need to switch as main in the gear app.

You get voice notification when u get line wechat whatsapp. It will tell u the app name only and for calls it will read out the contacts for u.

For me it's not meant a for a full day use.. It's just for work out thus the battery life is not so strong. But still it good enough for me. Just get it. You won't regret it. Hehe

last time i check at samsung mines is 699

6) Spigen Slim Armor - front SP lifted a bit at one edge, have to lift up the case a bit and wipe the SP in

Battery life on the icon X is only 3 hours. I don't think it's good enough for even 1 session in the gym. >.<

bro, I was just giving an example. I may be wrong. But that should not taken as an excuse.
If I were you, I would proceed to replace the screen as this is priority and important to get it fixed.
You are not going to put your phone into water, will you? so dont worry about this...

My opinion, Lifting the LED screen off and then re-seating it using the original adhesive will not be as water tight as it was when it was made. Most likely we will not be able to achieve the same level of sealing as it was new even if did clean and apply new glue. If SC perform repairs according to official repair procedures and use genuine parts, the phone should still be water proof - HOPEFULLY. we can only hope everything is OK.
