QUOTE(GameSky @ Aug 20 2016, 06:04 PM) officially unlocked? well you have to flash twrp recovery manually.. unlocking doesn't give you recovery automatically.. I tried to flash twrp using fastboot but can't seem to replace the original recovery and it will always boot to the phone and cable screen. Need to fastboot boot the twrp image manually, allow change, then flash the twrp image then apply the universal boot patcher. Goddam hard to do compared to any my previous phone. Waste 3 hours of my life becos there's no detailed guide. |

QUOTE(GameSky @ Aug 20 2016, 06:24 PM) i took it like less than 10mins...to flash twrp..all already linked on 2nd post for now. After unlock then boot to fastboot then flash the twrp through fastboot command right? all the guides available at miui and xda forums for quite sometime already. But I can't seem to boot to twrp no matter what image I tried. Always will boot recovery to the phone and cable picture. |

QUOTE(GameSky @ Aug 20 2016, 07:20 PM) did u flashed the correct way? Yes I did.fastboot flash recovery recovery.img or follow the twrp guide in miui forum, with the script? It flashed correctly, returned success status. Even copied the command and paste in command prompt. Tried multiple recovery image safe, coffice, alka, standard twrp, flash successive times. Nothing stick and it'll always boot recovery back to the phone and cable image. |

QUOTE(netmatrix @ Aug 21 2016, 01:57 AM) Rom can easily be changed. It's a non issue. Furthermore, unlocked, rooted and twrp flashed rom is 1000% times better than the stock rom. The miui backup deleted all my user data and forced me to this entire flash journey. Jilake backup |

QUOTE(nite_eif @ Aug 23 2016, 04:49 PM) i was briefly on the resurrection remix for a few days. the 20-08-2016 release.no bugs, very fast, everything works, saves battery. but i like miui better even with the battery drain here and there. didn't find the option to enable tap to wake screen in RR. since it's based on cm13 well maybe it's not implemented. |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Sep 10 2016, 07:34 PM) Just wiped cache and dalvik. Hopefully it'll solve this annoyance. Otherwise I'll revert back to miui7 QUOTE(GameSky @ Sep 10 2016, 09:11 PM) miui eu rom? which build? did u flash clean or dirty? Miui.eu 6.8.11me myself using miui eu rom and never faced such issue. Clean install wiped cache and factory reset before and after flash. You currently on what build? If it still happen I'm gonna flash some other miui. Can rekemen some stable build? I hate rr and cm13 interface, tried it before. |
