any1 having 'zoomed' wallpaper when changing recent apps from the normal small icon to the big ones where it shows the interface itself. Cant change it back , have to reset the wallpaper itself.

MIUI 8 , global rom , my set..

Anyone having problem with camera upload for dropbox in MIUI 8(global rom). Wasnt having any problem during 7.5.x.

For instagram and twitter, I dont have such problem . But for tumblr, before MIUI8 the app would crash and I would have to restart the app. But for MIUI 8 , the app hangs for a minute and it would revert to previous blog and everything is back to normal again.
Is your model 2gb or 3gb? Forums said that it is due to ram .. So maybe 2gb might have more crashes . I am using 3gb.

PS: this only happen if the blog itself have alot of gif or videos. I tried finding online for solutions but at least MI is improving from MIUI7 to 8.

Permission to autostart is the problem.. go into settings > permissions>autostart , select whatsapp

dont need to lock the app. need to do that for music app thou.

I solved mine via autostart permission. Then have to wait for the sifus in this forum to help.

I too had battery drain issue, my battery drop 20~30% overnight ( 1 week in miui 8) , cant seem to find the problem since I never install new programme for the 2~3 day before the drain surface. Finally resolve it by downloading battery saving programme(battery doctor) uninstalled it after .. now overnight drain back to 2~5%.

Dont think its worth the upgrade cause MTK chip.
