heyya guys
i just got my Redmi Note 3 this evening.
straight away unlock the bootloader then flashed CM13. happy with this phone so far..let's see how a 4000mAH battery capacity can hold up with my heavy usage

max for me only 7 hours.i'm a very very heavy user. LTE at day, Wifi at night.

no,not MiFlash, have to use fastboot.run CMD(command prompt) then boot into fastboot mode first

just flash the TWRP u mentioned earlier, no need CM recovery
step that i used. one time try,succeeded:

1. flash twrp
2. convert filesystem to f2fs (i just convert /data partition)
3. reboot recovery
4. factory reset
5. flash firmware (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424951192)
6. flash CM rom
7. flash gapps (x64)

you can update normally via OTA (Settings>About Phone>CyanogenMod Update)

meh..of course u need to be in fastboot mode first smile.gif

side notes : normally i would try to test boot the recovery first before flashing them.a bad recovery due to bad download(internet not stable etc2) could fucked up the whole process

its optional actually,but if it works then it works then
try to check your fingerprint sensor and camera and see if they're working
