QUOTE(mansooriqbal @ Sep 3 2016, 12:23 PM) max for me only 7 hours.i'm a very very heavy user. LTE at day, Wifi at night. Whatsapp/instagram/web surfing/music listening all day.plus some downloads sometime. i'm very happy now,i dont think i'll replace this phone/rom anytime soon.anything that can accompany me and my usage all day without the needs of a charger is what i'm looking for hehe This post has been edited by buyoq: Sep 3 2016, 12:30 PM

QUOTE(chrisderick88 @ Sep 4 2016, 09:47 AM) I just received my redmi note 3 from lazada yesterday. being a big fan of xiaomi mi3, I am glad that the phone is easily tweakable, can install custom crap like root/xposed framework easily. The only problem now is "bootloader is locked" and "need to wait 10 days" and "might stuck in 50%, need to flash china rom". WTF wei... highly disappointed. On my first day of long wait for the sms........ use unofficial unlock method la if cannot tahan hehe less than 10 minutes, kawtim. here http://en.miui.com/thread-253680-1-1.htmlThis post has been edited by buyoq: Sep 4 2016, 10:14 AM

QUOTE(wcshin @ Sep 6 2016, 08:06 AM) regarding cm13 is it the 1st step is to flash "twrp-3.0.M4-0.img" using MiFlash? then flash cyanogen mod supported firmware using MiFlash as well? have you unlocked your bootloader yet ? no,not MiFlash, have to use fastboot.run CMD(command prompt) then boot into fastboot mode first QUOTE adb reboot bootloader OR press Vol Down + Power Button then QUOTE fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.M4-0.img This post has been edited by buyoq: Sep 6 2016, 10:26 AM

QUOTE(wcshin @ Sep 6 2016, 04:33 PM) finally unlock....even though miui forum stated can unlock with global rom, I can't manage to do it, one I flash to China dev rom, immediately unlock successful gonna install cm13 later assuming I got it right, how do I update those nightly from time to time? should I download Cyanogenmod Build or Cyanagenmod Recovery? Flash thru twrp also right? just flash the TWRP u mentioned earlier, no need CM recovery step that i used. one time try, succeeded: 1. flash twrp 2. convert filesystem to f2fs (i just convert /data partition) 3. reboot recovery 4. factory reset 5. flash firmware (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424951192) 6. flash CM rom 7. flash gapps (x64) you can update normally via OTA (Settings>About Phone>CyanogenMod Update) This post has been edited by buyoq: Sep 6 2016, 04:50 PM

QUOTE(GameSky @ Sep 6 2016, 08:05 PM) that error occured coz user attempt to flash CM13 ontop MIUI rom. f2fs is not necessary. Yea but i find it somehow snappier to use the filesystem. Hence recommending them. Hehe
