not really..infact they got more sales and income now..lol xiaomi not just limited to phones nowadays..even smart home appliances, drones and laptops(soon)

while vendor rom is different story..

China ROM still official miui, just no google apps..comes with chinese appstore instead and those chinese apps.
If vendor ROM, you'll see it's china ROM, with google apps..but a lots of ads...

Redmi note 3 pro AP set and Mi Malaysia set is basically same hardware. AP set depends on seller, sometime they help you flash to global rom same as Mi Malaysia's ROM.. satugadget and directd afaik flash to global rom.

odin only for samsung devices.

for redmi note 3 you'll need to unlock bootloader via mi unlock tool, then use fastboot to flash recovery.

afaik those in "MI" flagship series family will get attention first. "Redmi" series kind of "budget" mid-rangers.

funny Mi max..while identical as Redmi Note 3 snapdragon but mi max got the update first.

Extract the NON-HLOS.bin from 6.8.11 rom, then use fastboot to flash
