st127...this cud be due to the phone is saving the sms in ur sim card...earlier s/w ver of the phone put the default saving at sim...

if u used to modding, u cud fix it ..the easiest way is to use p2ktools...in the Others tab, there's shud be a option for u to tick whether to save in phone or sim, tick the box...restart n it shud ok after that...

bro...it's kinda hard to explain it here but u do need to hv the p2k drivers , thats why u cant connect with p2ktools...

if u still interested...go to www.motomodders.net or www.planetmotox.com, check out the forum...they got everything u need...guides, software n etc...need to register as member but it's free...another site is earlbentley.net...this one no need to register....

an advice...read the guide 1st, make sure u understand and most important backup b4 u mod any files....just in case

the theme doesnt do much...it's the skin that change the appearance of the GUI

u don't need to "flash" ur phone to add skins...just get a skin mgr, skins that u like n off you go....if ur the adventurous type...u can do ur own skin, drm icons,fonts etc...

it seems quite a few of u here having lots of prob with the phone...i guess it depends on ur luck...hv been using the phone for quite a while...no problem at all...in fact i hv modding the phone to max and still no prob....

some of the prob are due to the firmware...if u r using original mdm..u can go to motorola m'sia website and download the firmware update software...AP..u can update it urself if u confident enuff..it's not hard as u think actually........

these site have everything u need to know abt v3x...the problems...the solutions...the software, games, skins...they even teach u how to revive a dead v3x...these are the place where i learn how to mod my v3x n fix whatever prob i had....

am in anyway promoting these sites...its just a lot prob can be solve...for example the reboot thingy...i can tell u guys that it's coz by the loose contact of the battery...just insert a piece of paper at the bottom end of the batter to make tight n u done...or get a bc70 battery...

hey bro...was off the grid for a while...anyway a split skin is a skin without any main menu icon...meaning icons are all linked to one mma.

the prob you had probably due to incompatible skins or missing mma...
