i am quite interested with this moto v3x.
but after a research on the net, i found out most of the ppl is complaining about this phone.
EG:
1: MP3 does not play even though it says its supported. (What is CBR and VBR?)
2: Real and wmv does not play too...
*Both of the above shows "File format not supported"

3: New contact when saved to phone book, will disrupt/destroy the existing phonebook.
4:Message tone.
For eg:
a 2 minit MP3 is assigned to a contact name as ringtone.WHen this contact
send a sms, the SMS ringtone will sing for 2 minit regardless u have read or not
the SMS.(Same as O2 mini)

*ALl the above are read from Overseas forum. Not sure if malaysian version of these
v3x have these problems. Anyone using v3x and mind to share their experience?

*Is the ringtone/speaker loud enough?O2 mini is not loud enough.....

browsed thru, but none of the post address my questions above...
so.....anyone can help?

On motorola website, i found the following information:
1: Video capture and playback with sound (H.263, MPEG4, 3GPP) : MPEG4, WMV, WMA, WAV, Real, 3GPP
2: Audio : Support of AAC+, MPEG4, WMV, WMA, MP3 and Real Video/Audio files

But from your reply, you said real and wmv supported.Means got support or not 1 arh?(Not to flame you
or anything arh....just that i am in confusion)

3: Display Type : large 240 x 320 TFT colour main display; 2.2 inch screen, external: CLI 96 x 80, 65K colour TFT

But on their same website, in the "Compare phone" section, they shows:
Display:colour (Not TFT colour)
But v3 and v3i shows TFT colour.
Is motorola trying to con people?Or i am stupid?


Went to phone shop intending to try....
but maybe my looks and the vegetables i bought.....they gave me a dummy set instead....
the other shop....gave me a phone...but no sim card, therefore kenot try.....



er....arh.....i know o2 mini can support these...but as above stated in motorola website....WMV and WMA supported.....but i read some forums....saying not supported......

Thank you terion. I have successfully changed the sound volume and added skins to my v3x.
HOwever, can you please help me on someting.......
If i am not mistaken,the v3x has a built in camera flash.
How do i use it?all i found is a "Light" which can be turn on and off instead of a
flash function...........

What quality can i expect......
but nm, whats done kenot be undone. SInce i am a moto user now~
overall, other than battery life, i find this a good phone enough for me.

anoither thing i noticed.
I phoned to 5-6 ppls..all of them are complaining that my voice is too soft,where i am already shouting........v3x problem?or my phone faulty?

The cover is nice~
i changed to v3x due to my job.
Now i noticed that my finger prints always on the phone.
Where can we get the hard cover?all i found was the soft plastic type.

Does changing L7 battery into it will increase battery life?
If yes, later go sapu satu bijik.This phone(to my usage),doesnt really
feel secure with it. It goes down very fast the battery.



ANyone having problem with their alarm function?(V3X)
It looks wierd to me. The alarm wont play the MP3...not always...
Today works, tomoro not.
the day after tomoro works, then not the following....
