QUOTE(alienLYN @ Jun 21 2006, 11:02 PM) A V3x user for 2 months now. Absolutely satisfied. Friends been making fun of it's "childish" UI when compared to w800 / w900. But WTH, i bought this over w800 coz it looks WAY WAY cooler and it has 3G. And for w900, different league(price) and too bulky. 1. ya it would be a good to have feature since once u touch the send button, the sms is gone. But anyway, got some questions for you guys and would appreciate it if any of you guys can solve it: 1) Can we cancel a sms while its sending out? I was a k700 user before this, whenever i press send(sms) i could cancel it immediately if when i've accidently send to a wrong person for instance. 2) Are there any earphone for the mini usb port for the phone? the 1 piece earphone provided is crap for listening music cheers... 2. probably a trick to force us to buy the bluetooth headset ![]() |

hi there,
i am quite interested with this moto v3x. but after a research on the net, i found out most of the ppl is complaining about this phone. EG: 1: MP3 does not play even though it says its supported. (What is CBR and VBR?) 2: Real and wmv does not play too... *Both of the above shows "File format not supported" 3: New contact when saved to phone book, will disrupt/destroy the existing phonebook. 4:Message tone. For eg: a 2 minit MP3 is assigned to a contact name as ringtone.WHen this contact send a sms, the SMS ringtone will sing for 2 minit regardless u have read or not the SMS.(Same as O2 mini) *ALl the above are read from Overseas forum. Not sure if malaysian version of these v3x have these problems. Anyone using v3x and mind to share their experience? *Is the ringtone/speaker loud enough?O2 mini is not loud enough..... |

Anyone knows the max capacity of memory card that we can use for the V3X? the salesperson told me 512mb... it's NOT stated anywhere in the manual.

CBR is constant BR while the V stands for variable. for instance, L7 supports up to 192kbps , anything above that and it doesnt work. 2)v3x prolly doesn't support real and wmv. i dont think any phone apart from symbians support wmv , while real is ... lol 3)prolly bullshit ... or an isolated error 4)not sure , try it out at the shop before u buy la. i believe moto's speaker volume is loud enough. gd luck in your purchase! |

But now this is getting weirder..... On motorola website, i found the following information: 1: Video capture and playback with sound (H.263, MPEG4, 3GPP) : MPEG4, WMV, WMA, WAV, Real, 3GPP 2: Audio : Support of AAC+, MPEG4, WMV, WMA, MP3 and Real Video/Audio files But from your reply, you said real and wmv supported.Means got support or not 1 arh?(Not to flame you or anything arh....just that i am in confusion) 3: Display Type : large 240 x 320 TFT colour main display; 2.2 inch screen, external: CLI 96 x 80, 65K colour TFT But on their same website, in the "Compare phone" section, they shows: Display:colour (Not TFT colour) But v3 and v3i shows TFT colour. Is motorola trying to con people?Or i am stupid? Went to phone shop intending to try.... but maybe my looks and the vegetables i bought.....they gave me a dummy set instead.... the other shop....gave me a phone...but no sim card, therefore kenot try..... QUOTE symbian phones support wmv mer ?? i thought most symbian phones support 3gp ?? i thought only windows mobile phones support wma and wmv usually ? bro i tested personally and V3X CAN PLAY MP3 !! :> er....arh.....i know o2 mini can support these...but as above stated in motorola website....WMV and WMA supported.....but i read some forums....saying not supported......
