Haven't found a thread on this. RimWorld is currently in Early Access on Steam but it's one of those really polished Early Access game cos it's been available in alpha for a very very long time from the developers website. Think of it as Dwarf Fortress in an alien world and with nicer graphics.

Just want to know anyone else playing this? Tell me your stories. Share screenshots or even videos. Still super early in my game so it's not so crazy yet with events and stuff. The craziest thing was that my colonist was attacked by a crazy tortoise.

Which package you bought ? Just vanilla ?

I played Dwarf Fortress and guess this is a more graphic polished title of the same concept. Maybe I'll give it a try during sale later. Currently I have no GPU to play. the fan on my GTX760 kaput last week while playing No Man Sky

Gonna fix my cooler first as I ordered Arctic Cooling aftermarket cooler and only end of the month can get.

Huh? On Steam Early Access there is only one package. There are different tiers that get your name in the game... unless you meant that... I just got the normal version.

FYI minimum requirements for Early Access version

OS: Windows XP
Processor: Core 2 Duo
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384 MB of RAM
Storage: 500 MB available space

Not sure if your machine would be fine. But yeah game is not out yet proper so it's ok to wait. But i can say already quite polished. WHen it comes to early access I'd rather wait. I've bought only 3 games so far i early access. Project Zomboid, Darkest Dungeon and now RimWorld. All very polished.

Game mostly defaults with 2 guys and a girl (although I've seen it start different with all guys). Which is why I went for that. The female can get pregnant but you can grow your colony by accepting people that migrate from other settlements. And yeah 'Jibby' is gay. But Leo doesn't seem interested in him, he isn't bi.

More ram and cpu intensive, this game is. Endgame siege will test your colony. Getting 200+ mobs attacking you at the same time will test your pc and your defenses. Seriously fun game but need planning.
