Hi all sifu, i want to ask about my lens warranty.
My lens warranty already end but now lens have problem with focus problem, but i check back my warranty card that all info are still blank, is that possible i fill up some date that not yet over the warranty and take go service center? Is that nikon there will have date that i purchase?
My lens is Nikon DX 18-55mm kit lens.
The problem is when i focus something it become blurry, if i take for shop service is that will cost alot?Or better buy a new lens?

Recommend you just buy a used unit. They will probably trace back to the invoice date. Used unit not that expensive too anyway 😄

This afternoon take go service center already, they also accepted my warranty card. My lens age is about 6years old. Just see what will happen after this.

Sounds like my lens problem couple of months ago. My canon kit lens was diagnosed by canon service centre of having fungus build up. Repair cost can almost buy a used kit lens.

Yes true, those repair cost really can buy a used kit lens already, but luckliy Nikon accepted my warranty card and done repair already.
