Regarding your feedback, one dead pixel is actually quite normal in most modern LCD displays. It does not fall under the warranty but we do provide an insurance option to guarantee your laptop is free from dead/lit pixels within the first 6 months of purchase. As per checking, you order did not include the "no dead/lit pixel insurance" premium option for your laptop. ILLEGEAR do use Grade A LCD display from top-tier manufacturer in overseas, but even by that; there is still a chance for one less visible dead or lit pixel to appear on the display.

Different computer vendors have different dead pixel policies. For example, some vendors replace the screen only when there are at least 3 visible dead/lit pixels appearing on the center of your screen.

For ILLEGEAR, we do provide the "ILLEGEAR Display Quality Standards" to guarantee your screen has less than 3 lit pixels, 3 dead pixels or 3 lit and dead pixels in total. In choosing dead pixel insurance option, we will ensure that your screen is FREE from ANY dead pixel or partially-lit pixels within 180 days of purchasing.

We hope you understand this situation and we are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Recently we receive a lot of enquiries about the differences between Q5 and Q5 Evo because both models come with similar specifications. We would say the biggest difference is the thermal management system.

Q5 (N850HJ, N850HK1): Slimmer and lighter body. Supports up to 3 external displays. Come with fingerprint reader. Runs a lot hotter than Q5 Evo in gaming.

Q5 Evo: Solid build quality and aluminum back cover. Can only support 1 external display. Come with 2x M.2 PCIe slots. About 20 to 25 degree Celsius lower in gaming compared to Q5.

Conclusion: If portability is important to you and you only play games occasionally, the Q5 is more suitable to your needs. If you don't mind the extra 300 grams and you play games heavily, Q5 Evo is a better choice.

Regarding your inquiries about the Q5, the build is quite sleek & slim at just 2.2kg in weight. Supports up to 3 external displays & comes with fingerprint reader too. However, it runs a lot hotter than its brother, Q5 Evo in gaming. If portability is important to you and you only play games occasionally, the Q5 is more suitable to your needs. If you don't mind the extra 300 grams and you play games heavily, Q5 Evo is a better choice. Battery for the Q5 is about 4 - 4.5 hours on normal usage, but then the definition of "normal usage" does vary greatly between users, so YMMV.

The price for the Q5 is already inclusive of shipping, even for shipping to Vietnam, so no worries about the additional shipping cost.

Regarding the logo removal service, I will have to get back to you regarding its possibility.

Yup, it hovers around that. From our stress test, we found out that the Q5 Evo peaks around 70°C - 75°C only during heavy load.

Quick update: We have inspected your laptop and turns out, it's a fan issue (fan replacement is necessary). We have installed a temporary fan replacement and the booting up issue seems fine now, benchmark tests are looking good as well. Yes, the smart keyboard has a tri-zone RGB coloring that you can customize in the control centre. Hello kirawan regarding your enquiries:

1) Although it is slim, Laguna is not utilizing the MAX-Q technology technically, kindly note.
2) Not really a big gap, although if you are comparing between the two, Laguna > S-Series in terms of thermal management.
3) Difference in series mainly, S-Series are aimed towards professionals who demands heavy graphical performance & also more expendability in terms of RAMs and SSD/HDD. We also received bulk discounts on the Laguna units compared to the S-Series, that also explains the difference in price.
4) GPU performance should be similar between the two but the D-Series are much more reliable in terms of overclockability on A/C because of the larger power supply (330W vs 180W)

Regarding your questions:

1) Laguna is actually not based from Clevo, it's actually ILLEGEAR's custom design
2) Aluminium, but a thicker variant compared to the Z5, hence the weight
