Hi there
I want to try ultrawide model since it is becoming more affordable now.
I am currently using mx 279h from asus and i am hoping to get ultrawide lg 29UM57.
Will this be a good upgrade?
I notice the price for new mx279h is higher than new lg model.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I'm coming from these 27 inch Dell, Samsung and Philips; and for me, it has been a good upgrade.

No money for 1440p yet n gfx card not powerful enough. How about movies?

Movies is the reason why these monitors exist! Watching movies just work. Lights off and you're immersed without the pesky horizontal black bars. Even 16:9 drama works great too as you tend to not notice the vertical black bars on the side.
