Same as me but mine is silver and at 1Utama SME. Delayed to 20th - Saturday afternoon. And I thought I was the only one.
*
Well, Saturday is just two days away from Thursday. Count your blessings. Think about those who are so sad because they missed out on this pre-order. console.gif

Just bought the 128GB Sandisk Ultra SDXC UHS-I. Wanted to buy Sandisk Extreme Pro which I read most have bought it for their Note 7, but they only have 64GB available. Since I need 128GB then no choice.
Any idea how much difference is the performance wise? Mine is rated at up to 80MB/s, after bought now only worry I've bought a card too slow which might not fully utilize the Note 7 capability.
Any opinion?
*
The Extreme Pro series is good for 4k video recording I believe, because high write speeds are needed. Other than that, I don't see any issues with the slower cards.

Anyone picking theirs up at Maxis Pavillion tomorrow? Rcv a call from maxis last week saying that im only able to collect the phone on 19 and not 18. But i received 2 SMS reminders from maxis saying pickup shall be on 18th. Checking online also shows pickup date as 18.

Anyone here picking up their N7 there can share if they rcv such call?
*
This seems bad.

I better call Maxis Gardens to confirm my stock before I go tomorrow. shocking.gif

............... the point of the backpack is because ppl lazy to carry power bank right? Like that means ure gonna carry the backpack around, might as well carry power bank ? Lol .... but hey ... i'm not judging man ..

I'm asking coz i'm planning to buy the backpack also but seems a little bulky and no protection ... also curious what will happen if you stick the backpack to your phone and then the whole bundle put on the wireless charger ... it will charge both the backpack and phone together? lol.... hope u dont mind to try this and let me know smile.gif cheers
*
With power bank, you need to use a cable to connect to it.

With the backpack, no cables needed.

Can use it when you are at waterpark whole day. thumbup.gif

Anyone been to Maxis Centres? Wonder if they have stocked up any Note 7 accessories. Else, just have to go to Samsung outlet next door.

Courts offer Note 7 again but with different freebies! Of course, delivery is September!

http://www.courts.com.my/pages/samsung-not...id-1168144.aspx

The extended warranty sounds good. smile.gif

(I hope this is not old news)
*
The extended warranty is the only thing worth considering. The other freebies are very basic and of no value, honestly.

QUOTE(ReaperX @ Aug 18 2016, 12:42 AM)
Wondering will it be possible if device purchased from Maxis is eligible for Samsung's extended warranty?  hmm.gif
*
Definitely can. All SME Malaysia sets are eligible for extended warranty, including Malaysia telco sets.

Here we go again...

This was discussed time and again back in the S7 edge threads.

The reason the Exynos is far superior than SnapDragon is due to the noticeable battery life efficiency on Exynos, and that is all that really matters for most users.

Hi. You must be the guy that got the black Onyx DiGi set. devil.gif

To answer your Question No.1, I find that it doesn't really stop charging once it reaches full charge (on my S7 edge) on the fast wireless charging stand, which is very weird as my few years old Nilkin slow wireless charger does have current cut-off after full charge.

To answer your Question No.3, it's probably because it is an IR (infrared) camera, and thus only can view certain frequency of colour.

Need 3 hrs and 29 min to fully charged... alamak!!! :s

Something is not right here.

Even with the official fast wireless charger, it would take only about an hour plus to charge from 50% to full.

oh btw, saw someone encounter their phone keep auto restart few times in an hour after using. need to resend back to service center.

better test your phone kawkaw yah to avoid unpleasant things happen smile.gif
*
sometimes auto restart could be due to corrupted apps or files. try to do a factory reset first, failing which, send to service centre.

Galaxy Note 7 - Gorilla Glass 5 Scratch Test - Durability video

- so, make sure SP is on. Seems like the glass is not that scratch resistant after all.
*
Normally higher durability / shatter-proof rating for glass would make it easier to scratch.

QUOTE(xisan @ Aug 19 2016, 12:07 AM)
Ya wondered that too since my A9 Pro is like that
*
A9 Pro has much larger body, so maybe space constraint is the reason it's not done in the Note 7 / s7 edge.
Hope s8 or Note 8 will be different. thumbsup.gif

as long it does the job when it drop hard on the ground, im ok to have to have SP protect the screen from sratches.
*
Same here. Let's hope the 'drop & shatter' rate for Note 7 displays would be much lesser compared to s7 edge and its predecessors. rclxms.gif
