Yup, they called me. Around 10+ customers who ordered Gold and Silver are affected. So I guess you are one of the 1st few that were allocated.

Their standard reply is "If you didnt receive a phone call from us means you are alright". So yea, if you didnt get any phone call or missed call from them, then you are alright.

Yellowish means the white point is closer to 6500K, and 6500k is actually the more accurate white point under the sRGB standard. Digital camera and web content are designed for this white point.

I'm personally using Basic in Screen Mode display settings to achieve this. Standard AMOLED is too colorful and inaccurate for me.

It means other phones are just too inaccurate/blueish 

6500K looks slightly yellowish if you're not used to it. It's actually the same color as daylight outside.

I used to like very cool white (blueish) as well but as I grow older I feel it's more of a strain on my eyes.

The display accuracy in Basic mode is so good that Anandtech review mentioned "There’s basically no room to discuss for improvement here because the calibration is going to be almost impossible to distinguish from perfect."

For me I'm just happy there's no green tint like my previous old Notes series.
