i dun think you can use the microSD as part of internal storage (some phones can).

so, not really going to be an issue if you're just going to store movies/ music files.

as for recording video, if you worry... can always just save in internal memory first. end of day, move to card. ya, can be troublesome.

You can use ext sdcard as storage in S7e without rooting
Possibly same method could be used too on Note7?

damn, samsung smart switch app not compatible with my vivo xshot 4.3 OS.(though requirement is 4.0 above)
any other app good to copy data from android to this note 7?
copy like contact, sms, call log should be enough.

google calendar would auto sync i guess.

Use app Super Backup - works perfectly

Ex Note 5 SPen cannot be used at all ? Absolutely no response. I tested with my spare unit
BTW the new Spen is fantastic and a vast improvement over Note5

Even with 100mAh power less than S7e I would say the Note7 battery life is quite good
On mainly internet based stuffs ( browsing, tweeter, nwwsfeed, whatsapp, Facebook, YouTube etc) with no gaming my extrapolation showed easily 6+ hours SOT.
On my ex S7e it was consistently 7-8 hours
I believe with more charging periods and battery life will be close to S7e
For me minimum SOT I would be happy is 5-6 hours
The better SOT I had experienced so far are : Mate7, Mate8: - - 10-11, A9pro 13-14, MiMax 11-12. These are phones with bigger battery capacities
Those who are worried about the edge sensitivity I would say is a non issue at all. The curvature is significantly lesser than S7e, S6e. I do love the edge features though some might not.

I would like to confirm again both my Aukey qualcomm 2.0 fast charge power adapter and car charger can FAST CHARGE the Note7. It does too on my ex S7e
This is to proof again it works. One forumer had said it was not possible and had said nasty stuffs about other users who said otherwise

Take 3 hours full charging with wireless fast charge. Ist it normal?
*
I had not used the supplied fast charging pad as I still has the one bought previously for S7e
That unit from about 10% to full it took me about slightly over 2 hours. It was reported that Samsung had in fact said their fast wireless charging pad will take about 2.5 hours
You need to use Samsung fast charging adapter with it. I had tested before using other QC adapter and is much slower. Cables I don't think is an issue unless it is one of those low cheap quality type

How about durability of the screen? There's a youtube scratch test video showing screen being scratched at MOH hardness 4, and this is the only scratch test video I've found so far. He also did the same for S7e and it has much better resistance at 6.

I know you're not using SP so would like to get your feedback.
*
For the first time I will probably buy a SP for this Note 7. The video by Jerry is not encouraging as it show its scratch ability resistance is low. Anyway my phone is always protected with a flipcase
Anyway I had tested trying to scratch with car keys and coins and there is no scratch at all. Jerry tested it using a very sharp pointed tool

i guess it's because phone screen nowadays are designed to withstand scratch

but how about if ur pocket hv sand? can withstand sand?
*
Sand being harder than glass will definitely scratch it. But this is a problem I will never faced as my phone is always in covered flipcase

WTF, just now when I clicked the s pen to take it out it went in and got stuck.. AGAIN.

First time took out the box, already stuck inside and I had to go to the service center to take it out. I thought it would be end of that problem.

did I receive a faulty unit or what? Any experts here can advise what to do?
*
Check up this video. Go and replace the SPen

This is the exact issue I'm having!

So I should ask for a new s pen? Just the s pen?

Updated to latest firmware. Phone bootup successfully without any issues
Those users who said their phone sudden hang should go over to service center for assistance
New phones shouldn't behave this way. Is unlikely a software issue n most probably is due to motherboard problem
You can try first to factory reset to see whether such hung/freeze issues recur

Don't worry too much over these Note7 sudden hung/reboot issues. Just use the phone normally and monitor yourself
One can always claim warranty . It'd be darn inconvenient only for users having one smartphone
I will be using this phone as my daily driver. 2 days already on it and yet to have any issues and hope it stays that way !
