It's not because Blizz downloader is bad.

It's because TMNut stopped P2P, which makes it difficult for the downloader to function.

Just know how to portforward and you will have no problems... I downloaded my patch in less than 2 mins. The 4mb one of coz

Few megs of patch is not too bad. It's bad when it is huge.

those that download fast is because your ip is not shaped. some few ip is not shaped for BT.

I opened the port. I saw a long list of connection come and go in my Blizz downloaded but none of them giving. Only the HTTP direct is giving me and I notice it only give me bit by bit then stop with an interval and then continue again. I could be wrong. But this is what I observed. So a 4MB patch could finish in like 1hr. Which happens to me on the earlier 2.0x patches.

Then i realized something. the HTTP direct will always give u the moment you connect then it stop after few seconds when the long interval kicks in. So I just restart the Downloader every 20 seconds for it to pick up again. It works for me so far.

faster with mirror downloads rather than WoW downloader. less traffic so faster download. having to reconnect so many times is tedious.
