hi peeps.. i know that when u charge ur credit card with foreign currency, it's translated using mastercard/visa own's forex right? where can i get the forex rates?

Visa and Mastercard have their own FOREX rate and will not follow the bank, it also depends when the charge appear on your bill, so the rate is up to that particular day

so anywhere i can check the rates? i know it's different daily, but i just want to know, roughly how much is the rates compared to the current rates (BNM rates or maybank rates etc). Thanks!

there's not much difference. eg what i get from money changer recently RM2.31-S$1. Credit card charge me RM2.32-S$1. Sometimes the credit card rate are even lower than money changer rate. But it really doesn't make much difference unless ur transaction is in few hundred thousand.
