Photography Nikon 14-24mm on D800E, Auto focus doesn't work good with f2.8

I have just realized that my D800E doesn't auto focus accurately with 14-24 @f2.8, either close subject or infinity..so have to focus manually each time..
The lens works flawlessly on my D810 & D750.. Anyone with similar experience? |

sad to say that i dont have both the lens and camera body
but to my knowledge, is the lens work perfectly on other camera bodies, then maybe the D800E needs a bit tweaking lets go, take out your screwdrivers.. *lol* |

 .. but other lenses i.e 2470 & 58mm can be autofocus accurately on d800e... :confuse: |

Did AF fine tune.... -20 (maximum)
A bit sharper.. but not as sharp as other lens |
