QUOTE(chronic_blade @ Feb 22 2007, 08:48 PM) frankly, unless u r planning on doing some 'set pieces' or 'coordinated movement', u don't really have to wait for team training session. 'basic' means ur own personal skill laa.. u can do it on ur own initiative, just need a little imagination & creativity..some of the boring drills u can do on ur own.. (just ignore those 'org gila' phrase thrown at u) - snap-shooting > just 'snap' at a target from behind a bunker, 1 shot each time.. see how many times u can really hit the target, or better yet, pin-point where u wanna shoot.. not as easy as it looks.. - running & shooting > set up an obstacle course & see if u can hit all the targets without slowing down (we did this b4, remember?) - fitness (incl. dives & slides) > u don't even need to pay to do this, any part of the field will do.. do this & u'll find out soon enuff how much u suck at it... start slow with nearer target, add more as u progress.. u'll see the benefit when u do actual team training.. good luck... |

juz read the M7 format of play... seems interesting.. but i dun understand the timing...
Maximum game time : 15 minutes + (3 minutes X 8 points) + (2 x 1 minute time-outs) = 41 minutes (and max is 45min) is that means, 45 min for each game??.. |

QUOTE(zzub @ Feb 23 2007, 09:17 AM) juz read the M7 format of play... seems interesting.. but i dun understand the timing... M7 game is slightly diff from M5, which is the normal format we play..Maximum game time : 15 minutes + (3 minutes X 8 points) + (2 x 1 minute time-outs) = 41 minutes (and max is 45min) is that means, 45 min for each game??.. 15mins game time is the actual game time, meaning everytime a team scores, time will stop during the break & will start again after the 2min break.. something like the game time in NBA... during this 15-minute period, teams are to score as many points or the max 5pts, as we play it here.. the raskal vs northern shield last time lasted for abt half an hour & raskal won by 5-0... but the actual game time was like 4min 24sec if not mistaken - less than a minute for a point.. that's fast, man..! QUOTE(zzub @ Feb 23 2007, 10:40 AM) yeah.. esp a week or 2 b4 tournament starts..in M7 paint comsumption is low bcoz it's a fast-paced game, u don't really have time to reload, even if u do, maybe only 1 pod... hmm.. m just curious why teams playing in M7 play differently when it comes to M5.. using same field layout maa.. |

QUOTE(amoslee @ Feb 23 2007, 03:06 PM) whenever u see a player testing out (dry fire) a marker, u'd see they do it by walking the trigger & most of them very fast, able to finish a loader in one go... - u can see this in most pro/am M5 games, so which mode one is using doesn't really matter here, be it full or semi auto... they spray out strings of paint just the same...btw, pro/am div can use ramping mode - psp..
