yeap.. something is very wrong here... only authorised media personel allowed in the field but unfortunately none to be seen during our games, they switched to other field maybe (more interesting there?)...
nobody knows the new teams either, some have never been in xtion but photographers still flocks thier games... as i said, it could be our jinx la.. nvm, will employ a world-class one for our games later... hehehehe

eh.. nowadays we always wear either the stingerz T or cap lah, sure recognise punya...

amos.. i was already topless almost half the time lah....

well, that maybe part of it too.. but then again, it's not really the mingling issue lah, if u browse thru the pix, not all of those teams mingle around too, some even stayed under their tent & came out ony to play/watch games.. how many of those teams ever been to ur tent or the tent next door?

their new shipment just arrived, loads of stuff, just go & check it out while it's still hot..

it's better to have a gal (or a few) who likes to see u play paintball, that's when all the 'supports' that u really need comes in...

the 'supports' needed in paintball are mainly monetary - if someone doesn't like/want u playing, there won't be any additional pellets for u to shoot in training/tournament...


the cheap paintball masks are, well... doesn't cost much, but usually they are hard, heavy & can be uncomfy to some ppl, the high end/expensive one are usually worn/endorse by top players... all in all, mask sold in the market got one thing in common - protecting ur face...
the common brand use here are JT, Proto, Dye, VForce etc.. price is from 150 ~ 400+... it's up to u which one u prefer (comfy vs pocket)

yeap, proto EL is a good mask, been using it for the past one year, before switching to ehem... dye I3 pro..
proto Switch series (EL, FS, axis) is a simple & easy to maintain mask - the fastest lense-change so far, the diff between those 3 is the face mask ( the [art covering ur face) EL is hard & the rest 2 are softer & lighter, supposedly to minimise ball-break when hit.. EL is the cheapest, around RM150, axis is RM350, i think.. & FS is somewhere in the middle..
EL comes with a single lense.. the FS & axis comes with a thermal-lense (double layered) which would minimise the chance of fogginga, nevertheless, all using the same size of lenses, meaning it's inter-changable - u can fit a thermal-lense of FS/axis onto the EL..

dye invision series (invision, I3 & I3 pro) are good mask, it's one of the lightest in the market but lense change is hell - took me hours to dismantle & re-assemble the first time... price starts at 300+ if not mistaken with I3 pro close to 400

have no experience with other mask, maybe the rest of the guys can fill u up on this..

i've used the proto for over a year to many tourneys, the lense won't come off under harsh condition.. it's the locking system that made it easy to change - this varies among manufacturers...

i'd say just go over to the shop & have that boy bring out every type of face they have & u can choose from there, after testing each of it... yes, they are very patient ppl...

can come to xtion paintball on sunday, 2pm onward... few intro lessons for newbies can be arranged la....

i'm just one of the 'guru sandaran' in xtion lah... only for basics, the rest u ask the bigger sifu laa..

it's in bukit jalil family park, behind the hockey stadium.. just ask the parking boys where is it exactly.. most of us will be there during that time...

blue axis eh..? just like the one on display... good choice there...

marky practices in taman desa coz that's where all the werdna teams do their training..

adam is like in almost all team there is - mearsk, element, monkeys... but always going against the stingerz...

yeap, it's a good mask & hope u use it well...

join m/ship in xtion to enjoy a cheaper rate of RM20 for starter pack & RM180 for a box of pellet... m/ship is only RM40 maa...

proto axis is not as complicated as dye I3 series, the simplest to my experience - they claim lense change in 10sec, right? yes, it can be done...
