what additional features are there after it is unlocked?

sigh..my k800 cant view chinese characters =( how much would it cost for me to flash to a newer firmware that supports chinese characters? and will all the data in my phone still be there?

hmm guys, that day i went sungai wang, and flashed my firmware as my old firmware can't support chinese characters....now my firmware version is: R1EJ001

but sometimes, i think it's like corrupted? there's once i tried when there are incoming call, i press busy, it supposed so say "Busy Mode Set" or smtg like that right. I got something Like Fzzy Mode instead. Then i tried calling my phone again and press busy, then everythin went back to normal..

there's once i tried saving a msg in drafts, its supposed to say "Message saved in draft" but I get smtg else. Some glibberish words "kahsdasd". What's wrong eh?

hmm need some help here guys..im using R1EJ001 firmware..flashed it in sungai wang as i want to read chinese characters...

but sometimes, the words gets corrupted. For example, when there is incoming call, and i press busy, normally it says "Busy Mode", but sometimes it says "Fzzy Mode". Then when i enter file manager, and it should show the "Video" folder, but sometimes, mine shows "F4:414"... How can I fix it? Or what's wrong with it?

i went to sungai wang, and told them that i want to upgrade firmware with chinese characters...they gave me the R1EJ001...

any suggestion where to upgrade to the newest firmware? as in really the newest..not just to view the chinese characters, but also to fix the bugs

after updating, can i still view chinese characters? im afraid it's some firmware tat can't view chinese characters

anyone can help me? which 1 should i choose if i wan chinese characters also?

i c....the chinese firmware, i flashed it in sungai wang leh..the original is some jawa thing...can support jawa lol...now i tried updating, it says downloading europe 1 wo...hmm?

i see...not java, but jawa....Jawa as in those iraq country sort geh characters Sigh...then say byebye to chinese characters...mine is AP

erm regarding the thread, i volunteer to take up the k800i user list i visit this thread everyday. Although i'm not really a pro k800i user, but if it's ok, maybe i can help out abit? heh

btw, i updated my AP set via SEUS. No more chinese characters

no la..better get confirmation from mod first..later kena scold

that's why sometimes ori phones are better than AP phones.. Their cust service is better too...If anythin happens, more safe leh atleast
