Dear all, im driving a myvi 1.3 lagi best and my tyres already 3.5 years old now although there's still treads left, about to botak anytime lah. So since its more than 3 years already, for safety purpose i think i better change those tyres.

I need something silent, gives me a smooth ride but not expensive as well. My budget is something below 300. Pls recommend something best for my car. Mine still using stock rim. Now im using goodyear, even a bit of uneven road gives me many sounds inside my car. I hate that. So im looking forward some good tyre and most importantly silent and comfy ride rclxms.gif

You're in luck. Personally, I've not seen a 14 inch tyre that costs more than RM300 a piece here in KL. Most of your options are comfort tyres anyway.

If you're only looking for Comfort, try searching your nearest tyre shops for Continental CC5 or CC6 (although, it hasn't been launched officially yet). Otherwise, find Yokohama BluEarth ae01, Dunlop J5, Ecopia ep150.

I would get the Continental CC6 I guess since it's new. The Michelin XM2 needs a successor soon since the tyres that I recommended you (like the Bluearth) can perform just as well like the Michelin XM2 at a fraction of the price. Try the CC6 first and write a review back here biggrin.gif

ps: A Michelin XM2 costs barely above 200 a piece, while the CC6 should be below 200 a piece. So don't worry about your budget. haha.

Thanks all. Manage to get a cheap deal of RM190 excluding GST for XM2 Michelin including balancing and alignment plus free rim socket in danau kota area. So far so good, the tyre is indeed silent and give comfy ride.

remember change when your tyres aged 3 or 4. even the thread is good.

normal rubber will optimally function at most 4 years.
