My PC is getting along just fine with IPv6 but unfortunately all my Androids have some delay when loading a website. So frustrating to have to disable IPv6 just because Google cannot implement it correctly on Android.

I think you probably need to check your IPV6 configuration at router first, IPV6 is totally working fine on my Andriod 5 & 6 devices. |

So frustrating to have to disable IPv6 just because Google cannot implement it correctly on Android. Hmm? How old is your android OS anyway? There is a weird bug about IPv6 RA processing in dhcpcd that causes wifi wakelock. (Basically, it wakes wifi chip and operate at full power for few seconds. Now this "few seconds" practically repeats around every 3-5seconds.) The more one knows......... EDIT: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=79576 #11 Jame...@landiego.com Just an update, I set my DHCPv6 server to also allow stateless configuration which fixed the issue. Pure DHCPv6 causes the lag I propose you to read all of those comments..... This post has been edited by JohnLai: Oct 14 2016, 11:39 PM |

There are so many users that got the same problem since lollipop until now. Already set the router. The problem persists. This post has been edited by mawardi: Oct 15 2016, 12:12 AM |

QUOTE(mawardi @ Oct 15 2016, 12:11 AM) https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=79576 I think is all regarding the IPv6 setting on your router. Mine Galaxy S6(6.0.1), Nexus 4(6.0.1), Mi Pad(4.4.4) and my sisters Galaxy A5, Galaxy Tab S, Galaxy Note Edge and Redmi note, all work fine with IPv6.There are so many users that got the same problem since lollipop until now.
