TBH wasn't really hyped about the VR before. But looking at this (as a Ace Combat sucker), im planning to get the VR in OCT for this.

I dont get why people still line up for product launches in this day and age...just buy it online and collect, why the need to (take leave, MC, etc, wake up early and) queue just to be the first to have your hands on one?

Among the reason could be to to avoid the later. Never know if preorder stocks came up short. Anyway i will leave the VR preorder to the VR thread where the the heat of discussion is already taken place. I am among the people who are not desperado for day 1 launches for gadgets. The only thing i would take leave/stay up overnight is when i'm buying property.

Of all the VR games, i find this one to be the most interesting atm. I would say the first experience of getting into the EV space with VR would be a memorable one

COD IW's Jackal VR mission looks very similiar to this (atleast from off-screen previews)

And there's also the Battlefront X wing mission, another space based title

Yeah i saw the battlefront X wing gameplay. Been comparing both game for quite some time, somehow EV still seems to stand out slightly. Maybe because it was develop from ground just for VR.

I foreseen many players wont be able to experience most VR game yet in 2016. The base player will probably kick in 3 months later, when ppl have more access to VR. Do share your gaming experience bro Mgsrulz.

It will be. Once you meet few pro elite space dog fighters pounding on your Valkyrie ship's hull with ionic plasma then leaving you hanging in space floating, crystalized

Among all the new VR games, i think this should be the most interesting at the moment. As it is developed from ground just for the VR system.

From the demo, the experience should be out of the world. This is all ex-Ace Combat players dream come true. If there is a cockpit joystick compatibility then lagi best.

Yeah for many reasons, I believe Eve is one of the heavy weight title meant to push the PSVR sales. Really can't wait to play it

Anyone recorded ant video gameplay of your Eve Valkyrie space dog fights?

Manage to test Eve Valkyrie in local retail store.

Just to manage expectations, the youtube HD graphic is probably from Oculus Riff or other higher end VR gadget, as the graphic on PS VR is a bit pixelated. The beginning launch and space dog fight was intense, just that if you are expecting high end HD graphic from PSVR, best to manage the expectations or to give you some heads up first.

Same here. Online retailers mostly selling Thrustmaster HOTAS X version, not the HOTAS 4. Only HOTAS 4 is compatible with this update, not HOTAS X according to Reddit.

No region 3 physical disc for EVE Valkyrie. Only R1/R2.

currently I have psn plus malaysia & I want to try this game. Is it advisable to get it from R1/R2? I know that the DLC is region locked. Or should I wait for Region 3 version if it ever come out? Thanks

I don't think R3 version will come out. Already one year since it was released as PSVR launch title. Even their new VR title (SPARC) that was released a week ago, is only for US/EU region. Nothing for Asia.

You can get R1/R2 version, but need to consider the latency when playing online since there's no Asian server. You will be playing against US/EU players. From my playthrough so far, there's abit of latency, still playable.

I tend to avoid those games which is not launch here especially online/multiplayer games, for the same reason. No R3 no go.

Anyway, EVE Valkyrie will be releasing WARZONE expansion this month (26th September). Warzone introduces next-gen ships for a new generation of pilots. All players will now be able to fly, fight and die together cross-platform on PC and PS4 - with or without a VR headset!
