Dear guys,

I would like to know that I have received 2 x iPad Mini 4 from my company's lucky draw. I wanna know that is the warranty date start counting only when I turn on the iPad or it is follow with the date my company purchased?

well you have the serial of the unit printed on the box just go to apple warranty site and put in the serial then you will see the results.

Thanks for your reply Alex. I am selling this few days later. I scare when I check the serial number on warranty and it automatically trigger into the system.

It should be but I never experienced it before. Anyway as soon as your company bought the device I believe the warranty period had already started. You can test it with one device and see

The warranty started when you switched on the phone and get it connected to internet

So do we still register for warranty under our name or after the above step, it should suffice?
