I think different phones got different problems mate, and also if you use different Telco for the GPS problems.1) GPS is not accurate

My Xiaomi Note 2 can never register GPS properly and not accurate (using Maxis line) but my iPhone 6+ had no problem, accurate down to the last 10 meters even (using Celcom line). However Celcom line is finicky in my area so when I tether my iPhone to my Xiaomi every thing works proper but the Xiaomi still face problems. Also the Xiaomi Note 2 hangs more often while the iPhone hardly hangs. My friends Galaxy Note 4 also had same problem with GPS (Maxis line) and cant work properly inside the car while poke hunting. And my iPhone doesn't heat as much as Xiaomi (btw having phone calls for 15 mins heats it faster than Pokémon Go over couple of hours).
Pokestop does not work coz sometimes the lag between registering and moving fast. Happens to me when I drive fast past a stop. Never had white screen before (and I've swiped over 1000 pokestops).
