Idk if you already know this method but for noob in here..  It may can save u from paying rm6.32 (2hours usage)

Method 1 (no root)
What you need:
1. android phone
2. A knowladge to setup proxy

A. 1st device
1. Download Proxy Server from google play
2. Setup your proxy server. If you dont know what are u doing, just create a new server and insert "8080" on port box.
3. Start the proxy server
4. Start tethering

2nd device
1. Connect your 2nd device.
2. Put ip "192.168.43.1" and port "8080" on proxy settings.
3. Now test your connection. If you still not have connectivity, sometimes you need to enter manually the dns.  Just use google dns. "8.8.8.8" and "8.8.4.4". Sometimes restarting phone will help..
Note:
This method is suck and useless for those:
1. Playing real time online games like dota.. Fyi steam doesnt support proxy.
2. Downloading files that not support resume. As this connection is not stable, it will be a nightmare for those using almost every free sharing files site.

Method 2 (rooted phone)
*this method is more stable and can allow you to play real time online games. And ofcoz downloading with 30Mbps speed on your 5TB hdd desktop. As this is the best method right now,  i wont share it on public.
Hint: encryption, fastest vpn server, reroute

Until now,  this method is still working for me.  I never get banned or get any warning on it..  Use at you own risk.

from what i read, actually a few methods have been tested and found to work. just read this thread and another thread linked somewhere here, you may get some idea. and yes, some friends reported success in using usb (instead of wifi) tethering.

but i lost interest in webe due to a few factors:

1. horrible signal / service quality at my place (which could actually be due to celcom due to webe having agreement with celcom for 2G-3G).

2. the fact that they can always "detect" your workaround later and ban your line, or worse (in true P1 style, maybe you will get a bill of RM9999 and a threat to CTOS you if you do not pay). please read the fine print.

3. it's also a TM company now. TM already f**ks us upside down with streamyx & unifi. i don't have any extra hole to let them f**k me again.
