great buy ts. however this monitor is EOLed same as its predecessor and its available less than 2.5k currently
next month Philips should announce their newer big 4k monitors
many owners got plagued by green-line and burn-in problems. but if yours is a good unit, then this monitor is certainly a great monitor

QUOTE(NoobHacker @ Aug 12 2016, 12:04 AM) well thanks for your info. i still tracking why i got so much expensive than market price. i guess they are clearing stocks for a new one. i wonder how they handle warranty for EOLed products. wouldnt it be a huge profit if i only buy for current price and claim warranty when the new ones comes out. last time i checked on amazon is 800USD 2 months ago i surveyed the price is almost 4k. then a few weeks ago saw they are down to 2.4k++ on lelong. i guess its clearance stock pricing philips has 3 years warranty and usually when manufacturers can repair, they will repair. or they might have small stock at warehouse to cover warranty exchange when they can't replace the EOLed model, they would give you the equavailent newer one instead. i know other pc/electronics stuff happens like that
