Designed to perform in harsh environments, the ENS202EXT features an IP55-rated weatherproof and dustproof casing that ensures it can withstand extreme outdoor climates and harsh indoor industrial environments. This includes prolonged exposure outdoors to sunlight, extreme cold, frost, snow, rain, hail, heat, and humidity, and indoors where temperature may be a factor.

Extend & Maximize Wireless Coverage Outdoors; Pair with Sector Antennas

Extend the network over short or long-distances with robust 26dBm output power coupled with two (2) removable, Omni-directional, 5dBi, MIMO antennas that deliver network connectivity 360° to large yards and patios. Pair the ENS202EXT with the SA2216 Sector Antenna via its plug-in mounting system to create a powerful wireless base station with 120° sector-wide coverage, extending the AP’s reach even farther.

PoE Port Powers AP & Secondary Port Serves a Remote AP or Networked Device

Two Fast Ethernet ports offer greater flexibility for outdoor deployments. Connect and power the AP with the included PoE kit, via the PoE port, in locations where power outlets are scarce or unavailable, such as under the eaves of roofs, on light poles or in other remote locations. Utilize the secondary data port to connect a remote IP surveillance camera, ancillary access point, or other networked device.

This flexibility makes the Access Point/Bridge a versatile solution for IT managers or installers who may need to update or reconfigure their deployments as network needs dictate. Quickly View, Monitor & Reconfigure Access Points Locally or Remotely

Remotely manage the APs/Bridges using SNMP tools or monitor them via EnGenius’ EZ Controller software. APs deployed on rooftops, poles or other difficult to access areas are easily reconfigured, upgraded, and monitored remotely via EZ Controller. Map-View allows installers to upload and view a facility floor plan or outdoor area, and identify and monitor all APs on the property. EZ Controller is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems.
