As you're leveling, go for Stormstrike and Dual Wield.

I personally say enchantment is really ideal for leveling. But learn from my past experience... do not i repeat do not play enchant on a pvp server. it just suck.
It might be because i am getting ganks at lv 20+ and i dont have any good blue eqs. But still ele is good if you are trying to play in pvp.

The days of Shamans being powerful in PvP are fading fast, if not already gone. Trust me, if a Paladin, Rogue or a Warlock wants to gank you, you're going to die. Elemental is ideal for PvP but you will have so much downtime in PvE.
Enhancement is the way to go.

Back when I was enchancement spec Tauren shaman I can kill a gnome mage in 3 shots with my 2h axe, sometimes 2 shots if both shots score a critical. we were both level 29 by the way. Enchancement is actually very good if u like to go melee. Elemental is also good pvp if u like to hit with spells. depends on your play style. but of cos i highly recommend investing a few points into restoration also as it helps whether pvp or pve.

oits....its Enhancement...not enchancement or enchantment.. nanti tersilap with the profession skill pulak.. my opinion.. - lean more towards elemental : caster type shaman, mana drain so bit more downtime when levelling - lean more towards enhancement : melee+totem type shaman, fast levelling due to less downtime - lean more towards restoration : healer type shaman, erm..heal? if u need example, one of em that i found is HEREmebe HERE is a good place to learn too.. what are the stat priority if i choose an equipment for the enhancement type shaman? INT or?

I would probably say an Enhancement Shaman is better for solo PvEing leveling where else a Restoration Shaman is a much better choice if you are into instance grouping. An Elemental Shaman is not bad in PvE but as some had stated, it have quite a lot of downtimes due to the need for mana. But it is one of the better choice if you are into PvPing since Elemental really puts the P into pain. And for your leveling gear, you should try getting Str for AP, Sta for HP and Agi for critical chance. a little of Int sprinkle into the gears since the Mana would only be used in the weapon buffs as well as some heals. You would still be needed to buy some water and/or food but not as much as a full Elemental Shaman. Hope all that rabbling helps.
