Hi there,

I've a prepaid hotline number with you but it was recently terminated, as I was oversea and didn't manage to receive the reminder message. By the time I realized, the phone number has already been terminated.

Can u please help to reactive the number for me? I have all my bank access tied to this number and urgently need to access.

Kindly seek your attention on this.

Hi Hotlink,

I am currently in UK, and didn't realise that my simcard expired last month. Can you please reactivate it? my number is 017-30xxx50. this number is so important to me and now I can't do my online banking. I won't be going back back to Malaysia until next year.

Hi Maxis, I missed my sim termination date 2 days ago. I just have seen the hotlink app to reload. but it said no service. can you please help me to reactivate my sim again because i have my WhatsApp number on hotlink number. I am overseas. as travel will open then I am able to come back to Malaysia. please help me to reactivate my sim.

Hi hotlink,

Im now residing in indonesia.. My sim card just got terminated because i forgot to top it up before grace period ended.... i last top up on december 2020.. i got a message notice on thursday 11feb2021 that the sim card will be terminated in three days, but i was only able to check it today.... at 4am.. its been hectic due to covid situation and i wasnt able to go to malaysia... and i have a toddler to take care of... and i just forgot to top it up days/ hours late.....
I have been using this number since i study in malaysia back in 2006... and been using this number even after it was stolen and got it back...

I also have about 300rm credit..... is it possible to get my sim card and also the credit back?(this is a lot of money for me...) thank you so much... please please help......

I forgot to reload before the termination date, which was just yesterday.
I am overseas and unable to return to Malaysia due to the travel situation; please help to recover my number as I need it for internet banking.

12 Feb 2021 only i realized so i called maxis to activate..
Maxis told me if i want to reactivate this number must be register under any postpaid for 6 month..
so i agree and proceed.. it take for 16 days to reactivated.. (keep follow up every 2 days but they told in proses)
but today 1 Mac 2021 told me my number available to activate but i have to register RM188 plan with contract 24 month..

It that normal?

I remember lastime my prepaid expired only take less than 24 hours to reactivate but must topup certain amount..
why now maxis become yahudi one?

Yes it's new law guideline but I know is minimum 98 plan and above for 6months but after 16 days only tell u must be 188 is suspicious

As per latest SKMM rules and instruction

1) Expired prepaid number reactivation no longer can be done via walk in to respective center or online/call. No more exceptional can be done regardless you are located at overseas or etc. Customer is required to purchase a new sim pack with new number. However, in case if the number is extremly important for you, you may still walk in and check the availability to register it as postpaid line if available.

2) SIM replacement request can only be proceed by the registered account owner with IC thumbprint verification. No more 3rd party request with athourization letter or etc will be allow

3) IC/Passport verification will be needed for prepaid sim pack purchase and even for top up ticket purchase... (no info update for the verification process for top up purchase via online yet at this moment)

For those who based at overseas, make sure you top up regulary to keep your number active and keep the sim with you to avoid any inconvenience in the future....

Report to SKMM no use one..
Same result still have to take RM188 for 24 month can not take phone.. The contract only for the number..
I`m not going to take it because my sim pax with 8888 i bought for RM150 only..

try call 123 to retrieve you number..

I've found out my line were deactivated today 18Mar2021
The deactivate SMS received and Hotlink app showed line will deactivated by 19Mar2021 23:59.

I've called-up Customer service today and the case ID: C1074427 (0124568963)
