Hey guys, I recently upgraded my streamyx from 1mpbs to 4mpbs @ RM120 and my area is unifi covered. I am not planning to change to unifi because I would to keep my current number.

Can I still write to CFM/SKMM on this current feud?

Did you mean, you want to keep your current phone number? You can keep your current phone number. You don't have to cancel the landline, if you dont want to. You just need to add unifi, that comes with its own voip phone which you can choose not to use it. That means you will have two separate bills. One bill is your current landline phone bills. Another bill is unifi bill (this bills will include internet + voip phone charges, if you use the phone).

Can't just cancel the landline n use old phone number for the VOIP phone number? Technically is it that difficult?

By default, they wont do it for you. They simply say it cannot be done... I guess, they may do it if you offer lots of money + some strong cable connection. All people had to change phone numbers, and all these people also had the same wish like you.... to retain same number.

I am not planning to sign up for unifi. I am planning to write to CFM for the double speed, from 4mbps to 8mbps.
