Lemme share my crappy experience with TM...Moved to my current flat about 7 years ago...Tried to get streamyx, tell me no port...After pestering tmpoint/100, a technician came over, found out the copper cables were stolen...Long story short, took me close to 2 FRIGGIN YEARS of going to every office imaginable to finally get TM to replace the cables and get streamyx 4mb...Been a subscriber ever since, spotless payment record(autodebit) and this is how they repay loyal customers...No 8mb, no Unifi, no discounts...

Unfair treatment...? YES, to put it mildly...I swear, if any other telco were available in my area (Puchong btw, not in the middle of nowhere), I'd switch in a heartbeat...

Sorry, haven't really ranted about this before, and this felt as good a place as any to do it...

I almost same with you. Moved in 9 years ago to flat in Putra Heights. Waited 2 years for phone line. No 8mb, no unifi, no discounts. Reduced speed. Can only "ambil bau" unifi wifi signal from across street  icon_question.gif

Lol, the "bau" from across the street paling tak tahan one...In my case, the flat next to mine, literally a stones throw away... doh.gif

In terms of speed, yes, hands down 4G LTE wins...However, keep in mind all these 4G plans have a quota. Like DG100, quota of 40gb...This might be a large quota for some, but for heavy users, this is hardly enough...With 4G speed, I can burn through the entire month's quota in just one day...For lack of a better option, I'm currently stuck with streamyx...

Can DG let us download torrent, and share among few devices, like totally replace steamix is all aspect?

If you're a heavy user, probably not recommended, especially for torrenting...If your monthly usage normally doesn't exceed the quota, then yes, 4G broadband plans are definitely a good option, much cheaper than streamyx/unifi...
