My permanent resident house still stuck at 1mbps my temporary house is not that better though with 8mbps only.. how i wish atleast fibre connection at my area

Haish TM give me another headache.Just transferred my Internet from gambang pahang to seremban. My package at gambang was 8mbps with hypptv and when i changed to seremban I had to downgrade my package to 4mbps. When i downgrade my package at TM Point seremban the only charge they said i had to pay was rm50 for transferring the address and the contractor fee if there is any wiring needed. However, now when i downgrade my package i had to cancel my hypptv as well, then suddenly I saw in my bill today that I was penalized rm360 for early hypptv termination package! how is this fair to me when I was not informed about it?

I had to downgrade as that is the max speed available to me for my house

Becuase i cant use it for hd content ofcourse. There are 2 reasons

First off) even with my 8mbps i barely get any hd service around my area let alone 4mbps speed. Which means to say i wouldnt get the full service

Secondly) i was not made aware that i will be charged extra for my termination as the officer at tm point dully said that i had to only pay for the transfer of the address. And she did acknowledge there is no other payment i had to made. Only rm50 which will be credited into my bill. And since to my knowledge, the hypptv is provided for free for my package at that time, since there was ongoing promotion, i was not made realized that my hypptv is bounded by the 1 year contract. I thought only my highest available internet package was bounded by that contract

Yup. I didnt know that. Also to think why would i cancel my hypptv if my subscription is bounded for the 1 year contract. I was not paying for hypptv and I didnt get any price cut after I terminate hypptv as well. It doesn't make any sense from economics wise. But I just cancel it before this unforeseen circumstances which ultimately becoming a headache for me

already sent a complaint through streamyx website. adoi. hujung bulan lepas raya dengan aq xkerja2 lagi dtg pulak masalah macam ni.. hope they can waive the penalty. If not I will try to contact mcmc and kpdnkk or whatever governing body to try solve this.. nasib fresh graduate

Already report to cfm using email cc'ed tm.. reported to kpdnkk as well.. hopefully it is settled fast and without complications

adoi..my service got suspended la... coz of that freaking RM360 caj.. already reported to cfm and kpdnkk.. kpdnkk already emailed to cfm..cfm already emailed to tm..but so far no reply from tm.. adoiyai...

any ideas?

Or they could start by revising the price. I understand if they cant roll out fibre at my area for higher speed due to rate of return on cost. But dont la suck all my money with the service that they provide. 4mbps around rm130 something..

im on that plan. im just saying we need to get a lower price thant rm130! because its a ripoff to think that rm130 can only get 4mbps.. while rm149 can get more than double the speed by the same company. I have no issue with the service although i would like a higher speed i understand. However TM needs to understand as well that we want a price that justify the service rendered.

im not sure how big of a complaint for the pricepoint can help as TM have no competition right now
