What are they thinking offering this crap to the customers. We want double speed or lower the price. Stupid TM! If only we have other alternative surely TM will collapse

I'm a user of streamyx since 2004. From 1mbps to 8mbps. I guess I'm a lucky one to get the Rm10 upgrade from 4mbps to 8mbps but when I read that some customer only pay for rm130, seriously? This is how they treat loyal customer...after more than 10 years I'm still under contract because of the upgrade.

Did you mean, you want to keep your current phone number?  You can keep your current phone number. You don't have to cancel the landline, if you dont want to. You just need to add unifi, that comes with its own voip phone which you can choose not to use it.  That means you will have two separate bills. One bill is your current landline phone bills. Another bill is unifi bill (this bills will include internet + voip phone charges, if you use the phone).

Can't just cancel the landline n use old phone number for the VOIP phone number? Technically is it that difficult?

TM knows that many just upgraded from 4mbps to 8mbps for just RM10. Hence, still under contract and cant leave them. So they dont scare u all. Cause Malaysians will forget this after a month.

That's the reason for this thread to keep the momentum to force TM to be fairer.

They dominate the market, so they can do anything they want. Plus, I think they control a lot of things, that's why until now, no other company can stay on par with TM.

I am not planning to sign up for unifi. I am planning to write to CFM for the double speed, from 4mbps to 8mbps.

By default, they wont do it for you. They simply say it cannot be done... I guess, they may do it if you offer lots of money + some strong cable connection. All people had to change phone numbers, and all these people also had the same wish like you.... to retain same number.

Hey guys, I recently upgraded my streamyx from 1mpbs to 4mpbs @ RM120 and my area is unifi covered. I am not planning to change to unifi because I would to keep my current number.

Can I still write to CFM/SKMM on this current feud?
*
U can keep ur old number.

Just go to TMPoint to reduce the phone line rental to RM1.

Make sure both phone and unifi under same name.
