i recall moreno saving one goal...tho of cos was from his initial mistake.
he also prevented another one as he was playing as a sweeper then.

the 2nd goal was obviously not from moreno side...why no one berate clyne?
*
Yes indeed..to be honest it was poor defending by Clyne. Supposed to show Ox the outside towards the corner flag instead of the inside towards the goal.

3rd goal also Chambers in between Lovren and Klavan. Why no one berate Lovren and Klavan? tongue.gif tongue.gif

Summarise,
Both FB are culprit...  laugh.gif

FB is the new spacegoat for new season?  biggrin.gif

2nd goal has some deflection that beat Mig's near post.
3rd goal, quite surprise Lovren and Klavan, both are quite tall, lose out the header, although the delivery was difficult to defend upon.

At least not nail biting towards the end.

How come, vs Arsenal always tend to chunk out some classic PL high scoreline one?
*
Because Saturday games all low scoring..so bookies say this game must >6 goals.

Sorry, but for all of Clyne's consistency, the 2nd goal was down to him not covering the inside. Couch managers like us also know that Ox prefers his right foot, Clyne should have known that.

Oh well, enough..3 points is still 3 points..just need to defend better from here on in. Not too worried about going forward as there's still Sturridge returning biggrin.gif

As an Arsenal fan.

Liverpool was fantastic last night.

Arsenal play too deep and hoping for counter attack.

Both Elneny and Coq lack of creativity and only there to defend.

Wijnaldum and Mane really add some quality in Liverpool game play.

Great game guys, put us well entertained for 90 minutes.

See u at Anfield !

Pak Wenger dowan to sign anybody before window closes? ur team in serious need of a leader in the middle of the park. Cech/Koscielny can't inspire that much from the back

well he does play as holding...even for Holland.
but for someone whos versatile, Klopp has of cos decided to strengthen the defence a little with 2 defensive mids ala rafa...something which klopp never really did last yr.

as much as everyone hates moreno, i think he's better off starting... then have milner go back to the center and just put either gigi or hendo on bench.
*
Or maybe Milner and Can would be better? hmm.gif Also, missed Mane's penetrating runs last night

But the fact is Burnley defended the box really well and lfc weren't good enough despite having 80% of the ball

The lesser that is said about the team's performance vs burnley, the better it is.

Watched the extended highlights. Some of Mane's passing were just perfect. As in absolutely the right weight. The pass to Origi early on, the pass to Clyne for Firmino's goal, the pass to Milner for Sturridge's first goal. None of them had to break their strides.

Hoping for more of the same from him this coming weekend.

i would love for u to find an instance where he did a simple pass to couts and out came a random long shot.

there must be a reason why klopp is still keeping moreno instead of going into the transfer market...afterall he has had plenty of chances to find a suitable replacement...yet he sends some out on loan like flanno.
*
And sold Brad Smith laugh.gif

Anyway the game yesterday was not the best yardstick. But it was good for players like Origi and Sturridge to get off the mark for the season and also for Can and Matip to get a decent run out. If Can's ankle no problem, i would want him to start against Spurs this weekend. Alongside Hendo/Wijnaldum/Milner? Who knows? Only Klopp i guess

Anyway, best of luck to BR in the CL. Drawn in arguably the toughest group laugh.gif

Maybe he might field a reserve team against Barca whistling.gif whistling.gif

Klopp won't put such an under-strength team but i'm execting Karius, Moreno, Stewart and Can to play

Went over the other thread to look see look see. TBH, although that SGSuser is a super troll, but at least what he said make sense. The other guy is slamming Rooney based on a picture. LOL laugh.gif

p,s I never slam Moreno based on a picture, rather after bunch of nightmare school boy mistakes.  tongue.gif

i watched the game. YES he was only at the other half of the pitch. No tracking back to help up on defense.

Their problem is not because of Rooney only la. The whole team is not performing.
