A question here, does V type engine save petrol efficiency??

And, Honda has announced it's next generation VTEC engine, the Advanced VTEC engine (AVTEC) which will make it's debut in a production car within the next three years.

Common title see on street:
1)DVVT, Dynamic Variable Valve Timing
2)VVT-i, Variable Valve Timing with fuel injection(or intelligent)
3)iDSI, Dual Sequential Ignition with fuel injection(or intelligent)
4)VTEC, Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control
5)iVTEC, intelligent-VTEC
6)CVVT, Continuous variable valve timing
Now I know is,

Honda made VTEC
Toyota made VVT, then Perodua make DVVT
Nissan made VTC(Valve Timing Control)
Mitsubishi made MIVEC
BMW made VANOS
Hyundai use CVVT
Proud of Proton is CAMPRO

Part 3 BrakingSystem

ABS = Anti-locking Braking System
ASR = Anti-Skid Regulation
EBD = Electronic Brake Distribution
EBA = Emergency Brake Assist

Part 4 Tyre "figure" recognition

Tyre "figure" recognition

eg. 185/75/14H

185 - Width of your tyre (mm)
75 - Aspect ratio is the percentage of the tyre's width. 75 is a thick one. Sports car uses low profile tyres such as 45, 40. (height of tyre)
14 - Size of the rim that this tyre fits in inches(inch.)
H - Maximum speed that the tyre manufacture recommends.

S - Up to 113 mph.
H - Up to 130 mph.
V - Up to 149 mph.
Z - Over 149 mph.

More hp does not necessarily better top speed. It depends, If you have trash gearbox (bad ratios) you won't go anywhere laugh.gif

Yes, more torque means more power, If you are in touge racing given scenario eg: uphill, I'm sure turbo(or any force induction) powered will pwned the vtec although both engine has the same hp and displacement but the torque is different. A good example is Honda S2000. It has rotten torque but good hp.

2007 HondaS2000 standard spec

Horsepower @ rpm (SAE net, Rev 8/04)
237 @ 7800

Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm)
162 @ 6800

hmm.....correct and also means better acceleration in general as usually the layman do not know what good torque @ low RPM means.  they only know the car can accelerate fast ....  rclxub.gif

If you know torque meaning in car...

While this isn't a term, know that parts like timing belts, etc have a life span. Understanding this will be more helpful when it comes to maintaining your vehicle.

PROUD of Proton engine rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
This is the engine that powers the Proton Gen-2. The S4PH engine can be fitted with Cam Profile Switching (CPS) and Variable Inlet Manifold (VIM) technology.

Proton developed its own variable valve timing(VVT) technology that works similar with other variable valve technologies such as Honda VTEC and Toyota VVTi, named as CPS (Cam Profile Switching) technology
