On the bright side, the rarity of pokemon might be reduced meaning there is a possibility of pokemon spawning elsewhere. E.g. I saw 2 shellders spawning in ss2 at the pokestop near Wai sek gai ard 3pm+ just now. Previously I only got them at 1u, KGN sbg and pd.

SS2 is now Shellder's nest. Wished it was Growlithe or some more powerful pokemon that can help me take down or level up gyms to earn defender coins.

Growlithe nest was nearby ss2 but after update yesterday, totally gone. Heard its in klcc now. Try to farm shellders hopefully can evolve a crazy cloyster with ice moveset.
*
Yeah the one nearby SS2 is the section 19 park. It's now a Nidoran Female's nest. cry.gif
Hmm klcc is Pikachu's nest now. It's also a Growlithe's nest?

That's what I heard.. However I can't personally vouch unfortunately. Seldom head to KL due to certain constraints. That's why kinda slow. Do share if u find the new nest. I will too. Cheers!

KL isn't as convenient for me too but I'll report back if I can confirm. Thanks.

With the changed in nest locations, can anyone help me find actual nests for Machop, Ponyta & Growlithe as I have a 96% IV 1100 Machoke, 80% IV 835 Ponyta and 90% IV 783 Growlithe which desperately need candies to evolve?
*
New Machop nest is at Lake Gardens/Perdana Botanical Gardens. Would love to know where is the new Growlithe nest because I love Arcanines.

I tried evolving Eevee to Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon by naming them Rainer, Sparky and Pyro respectively, but with intermittent success, even after closing/restarting, signing out/in of Pokemon Go.
Anybody knows a sure-fire way of evolving Eevee to Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon?
*
Try making sure you don't have any other Pokémon named "Rainer", "Sparky", "Pyro" in your pokemon storage and force quitting the app and restarting it before evolving.

it'll only work on the 1st time
*
Yup, it looks like you can only do it once for each eevee's evolution. There is no other trick or way. After using your one chance, the other times is random - you have a 1/3 chance of getting the evolution you desire.

Do you have any specific pokestop landmarks in Lake Gardens?
*
Lake Gardens is a fairly huge place, almost like catching dratinies at taman tasik titiwangsa. Machops usually appear around the lake.

It seems like pikachus has left KLCC park.

Nest taken over by the eggs army.
*
Wow really? That's such a short lived nest or is another migration happening already?

Wow. Don't tell me they are going back home (i.e: Taman Jaya)?

Probably more like vagabond or nomadic now shifting around.

At least you UP your Candies and also Medal to increase Catch rate (new update)
*
From my initial (tried on common pokemons like ratatas and pidgies) findings, catch bonus is somewhat insignificant. It's better to rely on better balls or smaller inner target circle.
