Today in Desa Pandan, I took over 1 gym from rumah biru. Didn't last long though. :-(

Hello Team. Some tips below. Probably known by the more experienced but may be helpful to beginners.

Save your lucky egg for a mass evolve. Collect a whole bunch of candies for the cheapo pokemons like Pidgey, Rattata and Caterpie. Then break out a lucky egg for double XP. Lucky egg is active for 30 mins or 1800 secs. If you're real fast, say, 25 seconds for each evolve, you can evolve 72 pokemons for 72000 points.

Legitimate fake location If you're indoors at home, check to see if there's any difference in your location when your wifi is off and on. If there is, toggle your wifi every few minutes. That'll get you moving a little bit. It's not much but I find it good for hatching those 1.9/2.0km eggs.

Pokestop No. 10 If you spin 10 different pokestops. The 10th one will give you double XP and more items. Not sure but there may be a time frame of 30 mins in which you have to go through all the 10 pokestops.

Gym Pokecoins If you managed to put a pokemon into a gym, immediately, go and collect your 10 pokecoins. Many beginners seem to miss this.

Hatching Eggs Hatch your 2km eggs first. Delay as much as possible until your level is higher before you start hatching your 5km and 10km eggs.

Go to the Shop and tap the Shield at the top right.

Just did a mass evolve with a lucky egg. Managed to get 69000 XP.

Awesome! Haven't come across it yet myself. I think quite rare.

Every 21hrs. If you take over 1 and collect you get 10 coins then shield has a 21hr countdown. After this even if you take over another 3 gyms, you cannot collect the coins. So if you're confident of holding the gyms, take over all 4 then only collect the coins.

After you own the gym (or any same team gym), you train by attacking the pokemon in the gym. if you win, the gym will increase in prestige points. You also get stardust and XP. When prestige reach 2000, it becomes lvl2, 4000 lvl3 and so on, then you can put another pokemon inside.

The defending pokemon doesn't get hurt but the attacking does and will need healing with potions.

The opposite for different team gym, you attack to decrease the prestige point and level. Don't worry, if you lose, you don't lose the pokemon. It just needs to be revived with the Revive potion.

6000 more XP to lvl 21. 10 more evolves needed before my next mass evolve which should bring me to or close to lvl 22. Was hoping to do it tonight but not enough pidgins and ran out of balls. :-(

+1 for effort! Defender is always at a disadvantage. All you gotta do is attack, attack, dodge.

Just did my 2nd Mass Lucky Egg Evolve. Very happy with the results.

Prepared 78, evolved 73, 11 were new.
Total: 73000 + 11000 = 84000XP
