Guys.... Looking for opinions for my dilemma
Currently my strongest Snorlax is 2.6K with Zen + Earthquake. Also have a 2.1K Zen Hyperbeam for attack but its IV is a miserable 33 so it doesn't warrant further investments.
So I'm thinking of powering up another to be my main fat boy. I want one benefits from STAB and more effective secondary against common pokemons like exeguttors (which earthquake is not)
Currently have only 30+ candies but I can walk or candy part of the collection is needed.
Candidates are the following. Help me pick my poison.
1998CP 75IV Zen Bodyslam
1659CP 78IV Lick Bodyslam
1618CP 62IV Lick Hyperbeam
1486CP 84IV Zen Bodyslam
499CP 82IV Lick Hyperbeam

QUOTE(Paiseh @ Oct 17 2016, 09:40 AM) As Valorean who like to sapu level 10 gym under 50 minutes solo frequently (Especially those belong to Instinct botters with 10x 2.5k++ Snorlax or 10x 3.0k++ perfer SW+mix Dragonite). Only Zen Headbutt + Bodyslam Snorlax will slow me down because it is harder to dodge and both moveset's dmg are good. If you want to build Snorlax defenders, Suggest power up this first - 1998CP 75IV Zen Bodyslam Then later this - 1486CP 84IV Zen Bodyslam Lick is for Snorlax attackers that can charge second moveset fast against defenders. Can tear down Psychic type defender a bit faster. I'm thinking that too but dilemma since its quite a major investment. Thanks.

QUOTE(fergie1100 @ Oct 17 2016, 10:10 AM) if only i have a dragonite i'm gonna burn all those blue gyms Unless you live near a dratini farm... the cost benefit of using dragonites to attack tak berbaloi lor. There's many common pokemons thats easily achievable that can be used to fight exeggutors, vaporeons, dragonite gym defenders. Dragonites imo are better as high CP deterrent when defending gyms.

QUOTE(DuO LoN @ Oct 17 2016, 11:39 AM) exeggutor? just use fire mons la. easily can sapu. fire super effective against grass Yeah but like if you solo a high level gym, you might wanna save that arcanine for later and use cheaper bug types that you can save potion no need to revive immediately. They're also super effective against grass types first. And for training gyms.

QUOTE(Paiseh @ Oct 17 2016, 12:23 PM) Scyther's two bug moveset double SE against Exeggutor, it also double resist grass move. In term of killing speed agsint enemy gym, - Fighting against exeggutor around 2k with no or minimal dodge, Scyther > Charizard(Wing Attack) > Arcanine. - Fighting against exeggutor around 2.5k with more dodge, all more or less same, cause your HP matter here. Prestige/training speed, fastest sure is Scyther with lower CP. Which moveset and CP is your scyther?

QUOTE(Paiseh @ Oct 17 2016, 02:34 PM) They are not rare, good luck hunting ones! Another one appeared as I was reading ur post... steel wing again. But nevermind la... I'll stick to my venomoths and butterfree. There's a certain charm is seeing wussy looking butterflies take on bigger pokemons

QUOTE(eXPeri3nc3 @ Oct 17 2016, 02:33 PM) Anyone can recommend me a mon that can be effective against a high cp Snorlax? I can chew through a lot of mons (incl lapras with arcanine) but snorlax always slows me down a lot when I try to tear down lv 10 gyms Snorlax has no real kryptonite so just have slug it out. Use disposable type advantage ones to fight others and leave the tanky ones to grind snorlax. QUOTE(Alezabeth @ Oct 17 2016, 03:26 PM) Lunch treats for today [attachmentid=7796115] Lucky you. Dragonite here only spawns near the mountains.. in those really out of the way places.

QUOTE(ccschua @ Oct 18 2016, 10:33 PM) HOPE Pokemon allows the genuie gym trainer who level up is not sniped by non deserving one. You also can camp near the gym wait for ppl to snipe wut. Problem is the more Niantic tries to "fix" the game, the more they fark the game up.

QUOTE(hybridkit @ Oct 24 2016, 03:41 PM) Hi Valorians If you were to solo a gym in a enemy dominated area, knowing they will take back within the same day, what is the pokemon you usually put? 1) Highest CP pokemon 2) Annoyingly strong pokemon that takes time to take down (eg. Snorlax ) 3) Soon to be transferred pokemon (to troll them) 4) No pokemon Hope to hear your feedback Save potion.. just leave it blank. Thats what i do since the gyms here dont last even if theyre level 10.

How do you guys keep ur screen slick especially during those long hunts all dirty sweaty fingers and what not.. then suddenyl dragonite appears and all the throws tak sampai
