Ya don't know why suddenly so many mystic till not balanced anymore? When I first started playing have quite a lot of valor but now they all disappear.

My area; Shah Alam (sometimes explore up to Glenmarie) is heavily defended by Valors. The main high traffic areas are conquered by Instinct spoofers. But towards the lesser traffic area like the houses, the gyms are conquered & well taken care by Valors. It's been days already & some gyms been under Valor's rule for many weeks. High quality level 10 gyms, with minimum CP2.5k defender. No chance for me to park any defender in at all. Even if I managed to park my defender, it'll be sitting among the bottom 3, which will last for roughly 24 hours only.

Guys.... Looking for opinions for my dilemma

Currently my strongest Snorlax is 2.6K with Zen + Earthquake. Also have a 2.1K Zen Hyperbeam for attack but its IV is a miserable 33 so it doesn't warrant further investments.

So I'm thinking of powering up another to be my main fat boy. I want one benefits from STAB and more effective secondary against common pokemons like exeguttors (which earthquake is not)

Currently have only 30+ candies but I can walk or candy part of the collection is needed.

Candidates are the following. Help me pick my poison.

1998CP 75IV Zen Bodyslam

1659CP 78IV Lick Bodyslam

1618CP 62IV Lick Hyperbeam

1486CP 84IV Zen Bodyslam

499CP 82IV Lick Hyperbeam

As Valorean who like to sapu level 10 gym under 50 minutes solo frequently (Especially those belong to Instinct botters with 10x 2.5k++ Snorlax or 10x 3.0k++ perfer SW+mix Dragonite). Only Zen Headbutt + Bodyslam Snorlax will slow me down because it is harder to dodge and both moveset's dmg are good.

If you want to build Snorlax defenders,
Suggest power up this first - 1998CP 75IV Zen Bodyslam
Then later this - 1486CP 84IV Zen Bodyslam

Lick is for Snorlax attackers that can charge second moveset fast against defenders. Can tear down Psychic type defender a bit faster.

Use Scyther against Exeggutor. Scyther eat Egg Trees for breakfast, can beat/train one in very short time.

tried to bring one down to lvl 8 in the evening, then during nite time back to lvl 10 again

if only i have a dragonite i'm gonna burn all those blue gyms

We're trying to take over the 5 gyms here.

It's been conquered and hogged by Mystic for toooo long.

Are you from Penang? If we gang up doesn't matter what Pokémon we have it be faster to take down a gym.

Unless you live near a dratini farm... the cost benefit of using dragonites to attack tak berbaloi lor.

There's many common pokemons thats easily achievable that can be used to fight exeggutors, vaporeons, dragonite gym defenders.

Dragonites imo are better as high CP deterrent when defending gyms.

Yeah but like if you solo a high level gym, you might wanna save that arcanine for later and use cheaper bug types that you can save potion no need to revive immediately.

They're also super effective against grass types first.

And for training gyms.

Scyther's two bug moveset double SE against Exeggutor, it also double resist grass move.

In term of killing speed agsint enemy gym,
- Fighting against exeggutor around 2k with no or minimal dodge, Scyther > Charizard(Wing Attack) > Arcanine.
- Fighting against exeggutor around 2.5k with more dodge, all more or less same, cause your HP matter here.

Prestige/training speed, fastest sure is Scyther with lower CP.

Which moveset and CP is your scyther?

How many gyms in Putra Heights? Those gyms are mainly level 10?

I observed from Summit USJ all the way to Main Place, the gyms are hogged by a group of Mystic spoofers. I took 30 minutes to burn down their level 10 gym, then they start bubble strat it back up within half hour after I burned it down.

I have all movesets, CP range from 80 to 1700.

All my Scythers got no double bug moves.

Last time the botters who use 0.35 API auto fly tons of high level accounts' pokemon to many gyms to auto attack and auto defend the gyms. Now with the 0.39 API, the bots are dead but i really respect the spirit of the hardworking botters turn spoofers who manually fly all their accounts to gyms to claim coin currently. At least they can still provide more challenge than those one account only noob spoofer who don't know how to fight and defend with brain and have to play at midnight to take back gym.
