Our original brake pads can hantam until 80k it seems for the front one if you drive decently. Don't change too early. I regretted mine. I did at 60k

Finally last Saturday I kena clutch pump failure at 69k milleage. From outside, I cannot see anywhere leaking, but brake fluid is decreasing slowly. Finally opened up the gearbox... tadaaaa...slave cylinder leaking.. Damage to wallet almost RM1.4k. I did not change my clutch pad and clutch cover.

Top pump : RM403
Bottom pump ( Inside gearbox) : RM387
Bottom pump adaptor : RM79.50
Mitsu ori gear oil 75W-85 : RM 185.50
Labour : RM300
Brake oil : I got for freeĀ  laugh.gif

ah yes, i kena clutch pump replacement. similar damage ($)

now looking at ori proton brake pads.
95k mileage. front pads some 10% left, some 15% left.

Proton rm 100
bosch rm 75
bendix rm 128
NIBK 195
FBK 65-95

haih.. cant cheapskate on this. need to live longer.
I search search search, cant find akebono or EBC anywhere. susah

p.s. i discovered our stock pads only have screeching indicator on one side of the pads. so depending on which side wears out first, we might not hear the screeching sound until it is too late.

Akebono is not hard to find. But super expensive. The thing is, they last very long and I like it. I did not know Proton has ori pads for Inspira also.
Akebono ones you can order directly from Mitsubishi . Bear in mind, it is very very expensive. Stay away from Bendix Metal King Titanium if you want your brake disc to last long.Bendix General CT is okay.

Now I am wondering is there anyone here who replaced their clutch pump more than 2 times already ??  sweat.gif

Ah yes, i did more searching.
Found the below akebono:

Senaxis PJ Proton - RM 550 front, 500 rear.
Bintang Auto , pads only- RM 330 front, 280 rear.

I guess its ok to pay rm600 for trusted akebono brand. used mine for almost 5 years now. 94k milage.

The akebono pads at bintang auto looked... Looks like the factory was im a rush to make them. Some imperfections on the sides.

No idea how to verify authenticity

Perhaps will go with Bendix or proton cheapo pads

Hey Bros. My car rear lights recently got rewire due to bumper accident. Looks like two of my lights not lighting up.

The light in the circle are supposed to light up right?
When normal headlights on.
