Any inspira 1.8MT owner here? How's the car drives and how about the clutch feels for the manual version?

Thinking of getting second hand manual 1.8MT inspira and my current City pass to my wife...

Suddenly craving to drives manual car as it too boring to drives CVT for few years.

Any enlightenment on the 1.8MT? 

Loosing pressure is a early sign, get prepared. Anyway you still might be able to prolong ya master or slave cyclinder/pump life by flushing ya fluid out it may last another few month or years if u are lucky. Btw lack of maintenance such as didnt flush brake fluid in time cause premature clutch pump failure lol. Manual specify 20k km. But how many of us do that lol.

When my clutch pump fug up @ highway, i did a quick bleed on my clutch line... the liquid is not in clear yellow color. Can see loads of tiny particle, cloudy dark in color and air bubbles comming out.  Fyi there is no leaking before the clutch fucuk up.

Just a tip for manual driver always standby 1 or 2 bottle of dot4 fluid in ya car it will safe ya from those costly tow truck.

don't be cheap skate.. price so murah one... no need full flush should be ok too .. 20~30k once will give no harm to pocket

Hi, how do u find the ride overall and any problem during ur ownership? How's the clutch bite and gear shift feels?

Hmm , the car is 89k mileage now . I did replace water pump and 2pcs front wheel bearing due to some annoying sound .

The manual clutch feedback is light , gear shifting is easy too but when i engage to reverse gear , it always got a *kek* sound appear .. hmm 🤔

Engine rpm reach 3k+ on 110kph (5th gear)  This abit downside !

Bought mine last year, new unit clearance stock. My previous daily drive is Wira 1.3 MT so this is what I'm comparing it to.

Clutch is ok
Gear shifting I still prefer the Wira, Inpira feels stiff so can't shift as fast as Wira. (P.S I shift gears in my Wira like playing Daytona arcade)
Handling and feedback is good but somehow feels filtered, in the Wira it feels more raw and more connected to the road due to lower ride height and easier to reach the limit of the car.

But hey I got a new 1.8L C segment car with MIVEC engine for RM61k so ya why not.

No issue with my vios Trd J sports.

Err , lets specific abit , it did came out the *kek* noise on reverse after cold start . Since i not always reverse ... so be it 😀

Speaking of which... Are the clutch pumps covered under the 3 years / 100k km warranty? Couldn't find exceptions for the clutch pumps in the warranty booklet...
